  • I love to play with my balls
Style: Premium
When you open the package you will say wow. They are premium balls for sure. Everyone likes playing with my balls. They roll so nice and you can see the difference on the break. Very pleased and worth every single cent. These are no $50.00 set of balls, I threw those away. You cannot go wrong with these and you will be extremely happy. They are very high quality and very shiny. This was the best $200.19 I ever spent. These are the only set of balls you will ever have to buy. The Vitrotech technology they use makes all the difference and you can see the difference. It is worth the one time expense because you will never need to buy balls again. I run them through the ball polisher every time before we shoot with just a dash of aramith ball polish. I would highly recommend these to everyone. ... show more

  • Perfect!
Style: Premium
My new Aramith Premium set arrived with the Aramith wrapper. The wrapper assures the balls are authentic Aramith and that they have not been tampered with since they left the factory. All balls are within the (+-0.005") 2.25" specification, with an average reading of 2.248". All balls are within 0.002" of the average. They are beautiful with vibrant colors, high gloss and no production scratches. I bought the Aramith Premium set to replace my old Aramith Premium set. After 25 years, they are -0.015" (1/64") out of specification. But, they are still very playable and look great. I viewed many reviews and photos of ball damage and chipping. This can certainly occur, but it is rare. Balls should not show cracks or pieces missing. However, if balls begin showing tiny chips which are eerily similar to each other, it is usually not the fault of the ball. Rather, it could be a table issue. There is a protruding staple or something else sharp and hard contacting the balls and causing the damage. When I first got my table, all balls eventually had tiny half moon chips. I discovered it was a pocket rivet. When a ball was pocketed hard, it would hit the rivet and leave a small chip. I covered all pocket rivets with adhesive felt and have never had the problem since. Fortunately, it was a cheaper set of balls that came with the table. ... show more

  • Wow
Style: Premium
New Aramith phenolic billiard (pool) balls, they are replacing a set that are (surprised me) 11 years old. The difference was felt from the first break. Smoother feel and nicely balanced rolls, much better control. You owe it to your game to use Aramith pro billiard balls.

  • Having Great Balls is Worth the Extra Money.
Style: Premium
God, these balls are glorious. Let me ask you something: do you want to have amazing balls or just average balls? I mean, you can spend - literally - $20 for a set of average balls. I did! I bought a set of $20 balls with no polish, balls that show every stupid little defect and chalk mark. Balls that don’t even roll very well. And then every time I saw them, every time I played with them, I was completely underwhelmed and depressed because they looked like ass. Even though, yes, I only spent $20 on them! That was me, a week ago! Now, when I look at my balls, when I play with them and I see how polished and beautiful they are, I feel as if my money was spent wisely. Because I know these Aramith Premium balls will look amazing and last for many, many years! Before I bought these Aramith Premiums, my girlfriend hated my balls, now she’s loving them! If you’re going to play pool even on a semi-regular basis, you owe it to yourself to buy balls that look and play like these. You don’t need to drop $250+ on a set of balls. But $20, $50, even $100 just isn’t gonna cut it. Spend the $165, buy these, the Premiums, you won’t regret it. They’re durable. And SHINY AS FUUUUUHHH!! And from that day forward you will play knowing that your awesome balls — the balls you paid extra money for — will last and last. And they will be the envy of all your friends. Isn’t that what’s important? ... show more

  • Aramith Excellent!
Style: Premium
Had a +$4k Brunswick table installed last month and the dealer sold us a Gold Koda Play Kit. The cues in the playkit are decent, but the ball set is a Koda Pure Performance set that was terrible. The balls don't roll straight, the cue ball is chipped, they're difficult to rack (they won't stay put), and WORST OF ALL, I was constantly cleaning them to remove chalk and pocket marks. I even purchased the Aramith cleaner which works well, but the balls would look terrible after shooting one rack. THESE Aramith PREMIUM balls are great! They have the vitritech glass finish on them, so they look great! They roll nice and straight, and after shooting at least 75 racks, they still look new without a single mark. If I notice a small chalk mark, it wipes right off using my finger. ... show more

  • A definite upgrade
Style: Tournament
I had considered purchasing the Predator Arcos 2 ball set, but after some comparison and thinking, settled on the Aramith brand. One thing to remember in the sports gear arena- you get what you pay for. This set plays true and cleans up easy.

  • Good but not great
Style: Premium
First off the same day shipping from Amazon was really impressive. Ordered before noon and it arrived around dinner time for $10 extra. "Shipping" cannot get any better than this. The whites on my set are somewhere between creamy and yellow. They certainly do not look like the whites in the picture. I've read online that this happens when balls were kept in the box (darkness) and it would turn white after plenty of exposure to light. I doubt if it's true. Time will tell. The set plays a lot better than the "free" set that came in the starter bundle with the table. All balls weight at 5.8 oz , lighter than my "free" set which weights 6.5 oz, somehow the aramith managed to "feel" a lot more solid upon impact with less mass. They do get stained by the cue but it comes off easy. Some non straight roll still exists just before the ball stops, maybe it's the table, maybe its the ball, maybe it's both. I guess that's why aramith has a pro line and then a tournament line above the premium. I was expecting a lot more with my $150. I guess I was naïve above the price / quality about pool balls. The aramith premium plays well, and well enough for home play and practice. But I don't think they are admittable for tournament use. ... show more

Hear the difference upon a heavy break shot! The balls roll way better than the inexpensive ones we initially purchased. High quality product!
