The Arai Regent-X Helmet is a first-rate helmet that welcomes riders to Arai's exceptional build quality, materials and design. Its redesigned opening makes it easy to put the helmet on or take it off. PB-cLc shell construction is stiff and lightweight to meet Snell certification. With an intermediate oval head shape, the Regent-X fits those with heads that are slightly longer front to back compared to side to side. Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction shell. Design combines multiple materials and techniques created internally by Arai that deliver both performance and affordability. Shell has superb tensile strength due to a variety of carefully-positioned materials and light weight resin. 4 shell sizes. DOT Approved, Meets FMVSS 218 Standard. VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods are exclusive to the Arai Corsair X Helmet. Variable axis (moving pivot point) allows shield mount position to be lower than most helmets. Dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal. Captures and holds the face shield securely closed. Provides a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open. Larger latch design allows for intuitive and seamless operation. VAS MAX Vision shield. Provides excellent visibility in all seasons. Pinlock Ready (available separately. Free Flow System (FFS) ventilation creates airflow under the helmet to reduce wind noise and turbulence while increasing hot air exhaust.
