  • strong pump with "really" short life span
Style: 6,700 GPH
we use this model of pump for a pondless waterfall feature. it moves the volume of water well to satisfy the requirement for 2 mini-waterfalls at top that are 4 feet above the pump discharge. the pump is strong and handles any small leaves and garden debris well without additional screen or filter. it also does not show any corrosion from the algaecide. however, this is the 3rd pump we have installed since 2012 (operating for 8-9 hours each day) which makes us conclude that this $800+ pump has a shorter life span than expected. five stars for function but only 3 stars for value. additional experience comments--1st pump failed within 2-yr warranty period and was replaced by contractor charging only the installation fee. 2nd pump started to whine in 2 yrs and contractor said bearings were going and the pump cost went from $900 to over $1000 plus labor. we ran this 2nd pump for another year before failure. we replaced it ourselves by buying it from Amazon, saving on pump cost markup and installation fee. we agree with other reviewers that direct unit replacement is simpler than re-piping but we will consider this option on the next replacement since the re-piping will be changing out the adapter section between the new pump to the 2" (previously stated incorrectly as 3") output pipes. when necessary and successful, we can change to another pump product with longer operating life span. update 10/7/2019--the new pump only lasted 6 months. we contacted Aquascape for warranty replacement and they recommended the 9PL instead of another Pro 7500 based on their analysis of our pond setup. we spent $50 to ship the pump back and surprisingly, Aquascape honored their 2-year warranty by sending us a new 9PL. we were skeptical that we would waste another $50 and get a "not under warranty" response. however, we received the replacement in approx. 3 weeks of which 2 weeks were for shipping back and forth. the 9PL appears to have better flow volume and has been working for 3 weeks now. wife is happy and I am happy that Aquascape stood behind their product. would suggest other users to compare 9PL at a lower price vs the Pro 7500 which is now over $1000/unit and with a short life span. ... show more

  • Exact replacement pump for my pond. Came on schedule.
Style: 6,700 GPH
Pump was a replacement for another pump that was not the perfect part for my pond set up. This one installed easily with no modifications needed. It was an exact match for the original equipment required.

  • Do not buy from these people!
Style: 10,600 GPH
The pump is junk! They will not do anything about it and it’s just over a month old. Just got around to putting it in my pond. Spent 3k with them! Worthless company!!!

  • Consistent performance at a high price
Style: 4,500 GPH
This is a periodic replacement of my 2000 square foot koi pond pond with waterfall. It works fine but only lasts 5-6 years and costs too much. Amazon had a lowest price tie with about 20 other suppliers but they got it to me in 2+ days.

  • They are made in China so you don't know how well they are made but the new one works just fine. Hopefully it will last
Style: 2,900 GPH
This is the 3rd I've had, the first lasted over 10 years, the second only about 5. They are made in China so you don't know how well they are made but the new one works just fine. Hopefully it will last.

  • Great product!
Style: 10,600 GPH
We have a large waterfall feature in our backyard and replacing the old pump with this has improved the function of the waterfall drastically. It takes little time to get the pump running and actually moves more water over the wall. Very quiet as well! Love it!

  • Works as advertised
Style: 2,900 GPH
Really simple and straight forward to use. Replaced a 15-year-old aquascape pump, and it just works.

  • Item as Described
Style: 4,500 GPH
Pump was delivered safely within the advertises delivery window. So far so good the pump is working great, I replaced a 3000 GPH pump and the higher output of the 4500 has made a huge improvement in water flow through the pond and falls.
