Full Disclosure: I dislike plastic. I do not trust plastic. More specifically, I do not trust plastic to provide a reliable, long-term seal with the help of a rubber "washer". Put it in a spare bathroom that sees use 5 or 6 days per year so I didn't mind going a little cheap on the shower head. I was also expecting the plastic to break or (at least) stress, but figured $40 was worth at least trying especially given the reviews. I installed it yesterday and it's been leak and noise free since the first time I turned on the faucet. The plastic held up far better than I expected. Far better. To maintain the proper orientation of both lock nut and shower head, I put a good amount of handtorque on it which I was sure would break the plastic, but it's sitting at 90° and hand tight with no breaks or visible stress in the plastic. Rubber is TBD. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE HAND TIGHT TO SEAL. DEPENDING ON HOW THE NECK IS CUT, IT WILL SEAL WITH WHAT FEELS LIKE NEEDS ANOTHER ALMOST 3/4 TURN TO BE "TIGHT". THE LOCK NUT WILL NOT ALWAYS MITIGATE THIS. I'm still convinced I got lucky, and I still believe it would break 9 out of 10 times the scenario was replayed. My point is you don't need to do that to achieve a proper seal. There's no tools so you don't have to worry about marring anything so just test, adjust, and repeat. I'm going to take it off in a few days to inspect the rubber and cut down the neck a bit to ensure it seals at the appropriate orientation using no more than a hand-tight fitting. ... show more

So the verdict is out and I love this shower head. The smaller one does tend to leak when I have it turned off but not a huge deal breaker. The bigger shower head of the two is also bigger then I expected but again not a deal breaker and I’m starting to love it. The shower head itself is plastic and not metal but so far no issues with rust or anything. Due to it being bigger then my original shower head I’ve noticed the water gets colder faster but that’s probably because it’s outputting more water and it just means I need to take quicker showers lol. Overall I love it. I love how you can use both shower heads at the same time and I love the different settings. We usually keep it on a certain one but each one serves its purpose. I’ve put off getting it and I’m so glad I did. It’s the best decision I could’ve made. I won’t go back to the one I had and for the price you can’t beat it. If you are thinking about getting it. The good: It looks really nice and has pretty good water pressure-I removed the regulator based on other reviews. I like that there is a switch that changes it between both shower heads running at the same time or only one at a time (or using the pause function on either can do the same) The different water patterns are nice, but I wish it had a pulse massage option. The not great: It's completely made of plastic. The thread on the lock nut stripped some during installation so it's not very snug with the diverter. Because it's plastic it doesn't seem to be very sturdy and I thought I was going to break the diverter because after putting it on, it was very snug but the hose outlet was at the top and should have been facing down. I finally turned it cautiously with a lot of force using both hands and it worked, but again seems like it could be an issue (may crack or break) in the future. Lastly the handheld has much better pressure than the main shower head because it's so much smaller. Overall I really like it so far, but somewhat skeptical on how long it will last ... show more

This shower head system was easy to install, and looks nice when it's on the wall. The water pressure is very good, especially if you modify it. Be very careful when assembling, because the heads and valve body are plastic. The fact is the price is fantastic for the functionality, and look of the shower heads. The finish looks good, and the length of the hose is good for spraying out the shower when cleaning, or if your shaving your legs, and need a precise rinse. ... show more

Absolutely love this product. Bought this for my previous apartment. Let me move into a new house we had to get a new one because of finishes were different.. the original product that was stainless steel looking had no issues with leaking. This one, that’s the bronze stain, doesn’t fit on as well, and had issues with leaking.. but I could be the faucet that we deal with here. Makes the water pressure feel like it’s 10 times better, I love how large the showerhead and how much room you have, with the extended hand held head. ... show more

I bought 3 different shower heads plus tried 2 existing ones installed by the previous owner of the house. And this one is the best. Great quality, very sturdy feeling even if it’s plastic. Remember to buy the 2.5 gpm option, the water flow is satisfactory and the modes are practical. I don’t see a comparable at this price range. Installation was a bit confusing, but i'm glad it came with plumbers tape. Seems to be good quality and flow is whatever flow I have (I don't have that good of water flow to begin with). The shower head doesn't evenly disperse the water, but i guess you could tell from the picture. The other part (I'm blanking on the name) has really good pressure and makes washing my hair very easy. This shower head is really good. The different settings you can use are really nice and easy to pick. My only issue. This is important. My only issue is there should be a slightly better knob or handle on the side for better grip when you are trying to switch between the two shower heads. The knob that is there now is too small. There is no handle to grab. Just a tiny wheel with an even tiny tab. For wet slipper hands it is really annoying when you can't get a good grip. ... show more
