Definitely do not use for support. do not lean on it. my husband suffered a fall in shower after back surgery. if you need support install bolted to the wall bars.

The handles "suction" is great, can be removed and placed in a different position/location so easily. It does take a bit of push to get them to be secure. I just use my shoulder and body weight and seems to help get them secure. Do check them monthly by giving a good pull.

I put it on tile that was porous and it would not hold so I had to return it. I guess if you have nonporous real flat tile it would be fine

We have the really smooth tub surround. These handles stick so tight that every time I shower & yank on them to check for good suction, the ‘wall’ moves. I highly recommend these safety bars (handles?).

Excellent suction power; Design with the green/red indicator for acceptable adhesion works very well. Handle itself is ergonically designed. Overall and excellent product. We have both the 12" and 17" models.

Purchased for use after surgery. Held on ok but did not hold on after several weeks. Needed to reattach several times. Wouldn’t recommend it if you need to put alot of pressure on it. Good for some stability but not full body weight.
