    • Perfect for a cruise, the pool or the beach!

So me and the kid were going on a cruise, and one of the many, many add on options was renting a floating foam mat at the cruise line's private island for a stupidly high sum of $ for only a few hours' use. There had to be a better option - and THIS IS IT. 1. First off, this raft deflates flat, and takes up very little space in your bag. 2. Even after you inflate it, it's not heavy at all or a pain to drag around the mile-long dock while en route to the beach. 3. You get that nice water flow all around you because of the mesh, keeping you cool and comfy while in the water. Those foam mats can keep water from circulating well to your back when lying down. Yuk. 4. Choice of colors. That was NBD to me, but to the kid, it was everything. She got her favorite color and was super happy about that. No worries about "I don't like the mat color" emotional breakdowns. 5. Even with arthritis, it wasn't difficult for me to switch from a "raft" to a "chair" while using this. 6. Looks pretty well made to me. 7. It traps the air in the cushions well. I popped open the air entryways after we were done, and it didn't want to deflate on it's own. I had to sit on them *and* squeeze the entryways' bases open to get them to deflate. I figure that's good if you are using this in the water - last thing you really want is for the air to rush out if the caps on the air entryways pop open. 8. The kid didn't feel like she was missing out on anything in comparison to everyone else who had a raft. In fact, she was convinced a couple other kids were jealous of her raft. That made her feel better about mommy being a bargain hunter. ;) 9. Nothing stupid/cutesy in the design that will embarrass you while using it. The stripes are classic beach decor - there's no dumb looking animals, silly prints or cartoon characters. and finally 10. Liked them so much I think I'll buy ones for the rest of the fam who didn't go on our "girls only" trip. I'm looking forward to enjoying these rafts for years to come. ... show more

This is a really fun pool float. It’s very inexpensive and is small when not blown up so it’s good to bring with you on a trip. I got this float recently for a trip to the Caribbean. It's lightweight & packs small in a suitcase, but was a huge benefit in the pool! It's very comfortable to lie on ~ I'm 5'5", & I could rest my head on one pillow (hair stayed dry), while my knees were supported by the other pillow & my calves hung in the water. You can also sit on it, either saddle-style, or as a sling seat with a pillow under each arm. It feels high quality, so altho I've only used it for one trip, I think it will last a while. The only issue is that it was hard to inflate ~ I couldn't do it, & my husband had some trouble but managed. It felt as if something was blocking the air from going in. Hopefully now that we've used it, it will be easier next time. But once inflated, it held the air all week thru daily use, & was fairly straightforward to deflate. Highly recommend! ... show more

I ordered two of these - blue and orange. They're just the same except color. I removed one star because of the price... these are pretty pricey. I paid several dollars less for similar ones (different colors / pattern) at a local chain store and I found absolutely no difference in quality between these and those. They''re even the same brand and in the same box. But if you decide to purchase these for the convenience of having them delivered to your door, here's my review... I purchased these for a six-day long vacation because I needed floats that would be lightweight and pack up fairly small. These are perfect for that. They pack smaller and weigh MUCH less than full-length inflatable floats. I was surprised at the quality and durability... they were excellent about holding air with very little to no leakage. They're also easy & quick to inflate. I used them in pools and also at the beach in the protected waters near the shore. (I am NOT advising anyone to do that... I am just telling you what *I* did.) I weigh about 165 and they held me up well. I never worried about tipping or going under. I'm confident that they'll hold up ~ 200 lbs. with no trouble. Maybe more. I think this is my favorite type of float because I could sit / recline on them but my midsection was slightly submerged. It's much easier to keep cool that way! Also, I find that they are easier to get on and off of than the usual full-length floats. That's just me, though. Your mileage may vary. :) Anyway... Reviews have helped me make LOTS of great choices, warned me about not-so-great ones and probably saved me from wasting money! I try to repay the favor by writing detailed, helpful ones. Totally worth it. I’m 5’3 and when stretching out my neck on one and my calf’s on other. Supports my weight no problem (160 pounds). Can lay out like hammock and use to sit in like a chair. Perfect summer pool fun!!

    • One cushion won't hold air

This was the first thing I ordered after buying a pool. We had one in our play pool and I lived it. Perfect lounger and it doesn't take up a lot of space. Last year's was sun bleached a bit because it never left the pool so I ordered a new one. Exact.same one but one cushion does not hold air. It's a slow undetectable leak but needs inflated every day. Didn't have issue at all with the first one. For the price I'm not expecting it to last forever but a little annoying. Would be 5 stars if held air like last year's., easily. ... show more
