    • Tip: How to install on slightly larger diameter paddles
This seems to be the industry standard size, but I've got a set of older wooden paddels (FolBot) which have a slightly larger diameter pole. These, as delivered, will not slide on to pole. However, if you are in this position, soak them in warm/hot water. This will make them just pliable enough to get them on the pole. As they cool, the will harden again and take a firm grip where you leave them. So, yes, the work... but for larger diameter poles, it takes some additional steps. ... show more

These will fit our kayak paddles - the splash guards that came with the paddles started to curl and were not doing the job - these look to be the right size
