  • Handy item for triggering lights or other simple automations from your desk!
To be honest i bought this because I thought it would be a fun, playful conversation piece. Now that I have had it for a couple weeks the T1 Pro Cube has been handy useful tool to toggle the lights in my den/office. I am an early riser and have my downstairs lights come on automatically in the morning before I come down to make breakfast and prepare for work. The lights turn off automatically at 6 am which is my expected departure time. Sometimes I get delayed and my den lights turn off while I am in the middle of getting ready to leave. Previously I would ask Siri to turn the lights back on, then have to ask Siri again to turn them off when I am ready to walk out the door. Now it is a quick flip of the Cube to manipulate the lights. Currently have have two sides set for the overhead lights and two sides set for lamp on my wife's desk (have not decided what to do with the remaining two sides). The Cube has been reliable, quick, and handy. It also looks cool on my desk. If there is a down side it is that to get full functionality I have to set it up via the Aqara app whereas I prefer to work in Apple's Homekit so that all my automation devices are in one place. Even so, I am not sure I would use all the extra gestures available in the Aqara app. One other minor issue is that you have to pop the cover to one side to pair it with the Aqara hub. Finally, I guess if you are anti hub that would be a downside as well because the hub is required (hubs do not bother me). ... show more

  • Work great once you figure out how to use it
Took me a little time to understand all the actions it has, after that, I have no issue using it to control scene or other devices
