I just wanted to come back and say that I’m in love with this duvet. And I just wanted to also say that you can put these in the washing machine. The label does say dry clean only… I’m not doing that lol. After my dog decided to P on my bed… I took the duvet and put it in the washing machine with a little bit of vinegar baking soda and like a tablespoon of arm and Hammer detergent. I had already googled this and so… You don’t want to use a ton of detergent a tablespoon at best. Then set it on cold and delicate. After the cycle was done I did an extra rinse cycle and then I took it out and put it in a regular dryer. It took about three times in the dryer but it was perfect and no feathers were in my lint trap. It was beyond easy and unbelievable that I was so scared. It came out absolutely perfect. So do not fear washing it yourself but what you want to make sure that you do is once it’s dry and you think it’s dry dry it again. You always want to make sure that these feathers are completely dry even if you are 100% sure they are given another go. You see people complaining about the smell or whatever they are not drying it long enough or they are line drying and you can’t do that. You’re gonna want to make sure that it is 100% dry. But it was great and I highly recommend! Anyway have a good day don’t fear the wash lol I actually haven’t used this down yet as it’s still relatively warm here in Georgia, but it’s very nice. I ordered the winter down because I live in an old drafty farmhouse and I am tired of being cold every winter and having to Jack the heat up. I fluffed it up in my dryer for 15 minutes oh cool and it fluffed up nicely, but I had to put it back in the bid to store it until it gets cold. I put the duvet cover on it also and it will be very nice and comfortable this winter. It doesn’t smell like anything, it’s not super bulky or heavy, it arrived clean and in pristine condition. No anchor points for duvet cover. Quaility build with high thread count. Should be good for summer months with window open and year round winter use with a little central heat assistance . A good amount of quality down good loft retention.

I've never owned a duvet that you use with a cover but figured I'd try it since then you could buy different patterns of cover and switch it out. I bought the lightest weight which is perfect as I sweat at night. It's still very fluffy and plenty warm enough! I have a king bed and stuck with the king size duvet. We love sleeping under our new comforter. It allows each of us to regulate our own body temperatures. The comforter is very well made and I really like the 8 tie downs. This is a king comforter on a queen size bed, so having the additional tie downs keeps the comforter in place inside the king duvet and makes it very easy to fluff. I haven’t washed it yet and will have it dry cleaned when I do. I have found that using a duvet and a top sheet keeps the comforter cleaner longer. I have been pulling it open and airing it out for awhile after sleeping as suggested in the instructions. I purchased this comforter because it got great reviews. One buyer said, “it was like sleeping under a fluffy cloud.” That visual sums it up for us. We are very happy with our purchase. Thank you! ... show more
