I have had a stroke so plugging in and removing made me nervous that I would break the phone or charger or both. Only problem is cord is too short!! Really short! So I knocked off a star.     • You probably don’t need it

As my title says, it’s probably unnecessary for most people. It’s slower than the wired charging. It’s going to run a little warmer than normal charging. It’s large enough to where you’d feel it if you planned on using your phone while charging. If you’re looking to just have a wireless charger, there are more elegant, better looking wireless chargers than this (since the wire just dangles and it’s too small to just sit and occupy a permanent place. That being said, there are cases when it might come in useful too. Think of it just like the MagSafe used in laptops. The magnet has a satisfying snap to your phone, but accidentally walking away without unplugging won’t cause your entire charging station to get yanked off. The MagSafe charger will just fall off. My charger is connected to my lamp, so that was a big deal when using the wired charger. It also obviously has the Apple feel as well. All of that to say, you probably don’t need it, but if you can get it at a good price, then feel free! ... show more
