  • Definitely Worth The $300!
Color: Space Grey Set: Core i5 - 8 GB RAM / 128 GB SSD
I was concerned buying this due to certain reviews. Once purchased it took about 1 week to get here. On opening it the charger did not work, that isn’t a big deal to me because of the fact I have another charger. If it were to be someone else it would be a different story. It was dead and took about 5 minutes to turn on when plugged in. When I looked closer at it I noticed a few scratches and marks but nothing I would be concerned or upset about, let’s be real it is a refurbished 2017 Mac Book. I was able to login quickly and everything has been working so far. I did have to do a software update because it wasn’t updated since 2021. All in all, I think it is worth the money. If you look at the price on a brand new Mac Book and don’t need anything fancy this is definitely the choice! ... show more

  • Buyer beware! 2017 Macbooks are notorious for failing hard drives.
Color: Silver Set: Core i5 - 16 GB RAM / 256 GB SSD
It looked great and worked great for the first 3 months. Two weeks ago, right after the return policy expired I started seeing a flashing question mark inside a folder when I opened up the Macbook. It would take several attempts to restart (boot) the device and the problem just got worse. After erasing and reinstalling the operating system it worked good for about an hour before it shut down displaying the question mark inside a folder. I wasn't able to reboot the device so I took it to the repair shop (the most reputable repair shop in Warsaw, Poland). The guy at the repair shop told me that 2017 Macbook pro computers are notorious for failing hard drives. If you buy a 2017 Macbook pro just be aware of the fact that the hard drive is a ticking time bomb waiting to fail. It will cost me about $300 to get a new hard drive installed. If you buy this model it is safe to assume that the computer you paid $569 is eventually going to need at least another $300 in repairs after you purchase it. He told me that I was lucky. If I had bought a later version or the Macbook with four USB ports instead of two I wouldn't have been able to easily replace the hard drive because it is soldered to the motherboard. Oh well, anytime you buy a used Mac there are inherent risk and there is a reason why there are so many of this particular model being offered on Amazon at such a discount. ... show more

  • Good
Color: Space Gray Set: Core i5 - 256 GB
Rude delivery driver who delivered it the MacBook is good but it’s weird because when it’s at 80 percent or 25 percent it will say it’s out of battery and then when it’s plugged in it will say it’s at 80 or whatever percentage it was left on but other than that the MacBook is good

  • Better than expected
Color: Silver Set: Core i5 Dual Core, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD
This MacBook is honestly very good and I’m impressed. It’s in great condition but it did come dirty and I just cleaned it and everything is fine. I do have concerns about the battery life, maybe it’s because of the game I was playing or something but it went from 100% to 78% in less than 15 minutes. Another thing is the “i” key on the keyboard is a bit stuck and it types out twice like this “ii” but that really about it, everything else is great. This is my first MacBook and i was honestly scared of getting a cheap laptop because every time i did it couldn’t run the simple stuff that i wanted it to do. This MacBook can handle basic gaming like Roblox and Minecraft. It went through so smoothly. Another thing is when I’m searching the web and try to go to a website, it doesn’t pop up it’s like it’s loading but it’s not. It isn’t with all the websites i look up but it’s with just some of them. Overall a great laptop I recommend! Edit: I think I’m going to bring this rating to a 4. Firstly, I forgot to mention the sound quality, it’s amazing honestly I can have the volume up about three to four notches and it dang near sounds like I’m in a movie theater, but the thing is I’m bringing this down to a 4 because this laptop is pretty old and doesn’t support a lot of things like I can’t even watch Netflix from off this laptop and I don’t even know how to access so many things on here. The App Store is stupid I’m trying to look up how to navigate everything because maybe that’s my problem but I don’t even know what year this thing is let alone know how to find out the year so it’s hard because if I just look up “MacBook Pro” YouTube thinks I’m talking about one of the newer ones. Like I said before this is a pretty good laptop but it’s so outdated and I can barely get any games on here. Like I got steam the other day but steam barely even have fun games that supports macOS. (Just in case anybody wanted to know about downloading steam). This is my review on this laptop. ... show more

  • Very good!
Color: Space Gray Set: Core i5 - 256 GB
I got this computer for my husband, and it works great! You will have to spend a day or 2 updating the iOS but other than that it’s been great! I chose the refurbished good because it was the cheaper option and it looks brand new. If you’re looking for a cheap apple computer I would go with this!

Color: Space Grey Set: Core i5 - 8 GB RAM / 128 GB SSD
I purchased this for my granddaughter. We had to return the first one but hasn’t had any problems with this one. The sound quality, screen quality, and Brightness are good. Boot time is good and she is pleased with color and size.

  • My few years old iPhone works better than this JUNK
Color: Space Gray Set: Core i5 - 256 GB
So I was super happy cause the product came really fast, and looked to be in really good condition. I paid over 300 bucks for my son to have a school computer, all i really expected was some light work, internet surfing and some game play on Steam. Takes forever to turn on, ok a little understandable, plugged in and taking a while showing the apple logo and loading bar a few times finally turns on. Set it up, and its a little slow to respond and kinda glitchy, I figured i wasnt use to a laptop and it was a user error. Issue continues, leave it on the charger for over 2 hours and it only reaches 66%. Sigh, I remove the charger to continue working on the issues my son reported of apps not being found or downloaded, and it shuts down then shows the red battery and power cord icon. At this point I’m done, returning it, after having it for ONE afternoon. I dont expect perfection but I do expect it to be less than a headache to deal with. Super disappointed because i purchase often from amazon and was hesitant to purchase something kinda big for my family, but the amazon certified store or whatever had a great speech about how each product is inspected to meet the standards blah blah, I wont be making this mistake again and stick to non important smaller buys. ... show more
