  • Looks and runs like a new macbook
Color: Space Gray Set: Core i5 - 256 GB
I purchased a refurbished Macbook Pro 13" in "Excellent" condition with 256 GB Storage and 8 GB RAM to have a facetime machine. I haven't tested it for a long facetime call yet, but out of the box, it really looks like a new laptop. The charging adapter has seen better days, but it does work. I was skeptical about my purchase after reading some reviews, but I'm very pleasantly surprised with what I received. I do think the packaging could have been better; I received a generic computer box lacking padding, and that box was sitting inside an amazon box with even less padding. I don't blame the seller for it rattling around the amazon box freely, but it seems to have arrived without any damage. The colors on the screen are vibrant and beautiful. I haven't noticed any screen burn-in. There aren't any scratches on it either; it looks brand new. The battery is in good shape with 115 charge cycles. The camera doesn't have any issues, and when it's on, the green LED light illuminates. The hinge feels good upon opening and closing. There's some light wear on the keys from previous usage, but nothing major. All the keys work and respond to a regular press. The microphone is also in good shape. It does run a little warm, though, I'm also installing updates onto it. I also haven't owned a macbook before, but I have heard they run a bit warm, even when new, so take what I said about the warmth with a grain of salt. If you're looking for a lightweight laptop to get you by in college, buying this as a refurb is a steal. ... show more

  • My few years old iPhone works better than this JUNK
Color: Space Gray Set: Core i5 - 256 GB
So I was super happy cause the product came really fast, and looked to be in really good condition. I paid over 300 bucks for my son to have a school computer, all i really expected was some light work, internet surfing and some game play on Steam. Takes forever to turn on, ok a little understandable, plugged in and taking a while showing the apple logo and loading bar a few times finally turns on. Set it up, and its a little slow to respond and kinda glitchy, I figured i wasnt use to a laptop and it was a user error. Issue continues, leave it on the charger for over 2 hours and it only reaches 66%. Sigh, I remove the charger to continue working on the issues my son reported of apps not being found or downloaded, and it shuts down then shows the red battery and power cord icon. At this point I’m done, returning it, after having it for ONE afternoon. I dont expect perfection but I do expect it to be less than a headache to deal with. Super disappointed because i purchase often from amazon and was hesitant to purchase something kinda big for my family, but the amazon certified store or whatever had a great speech about how each product is inspected to meet the standards blah blah, I wont be making this mistake again and stick to non important smaller buys. ... show more

  • Just like new
The media could not be loaded. I decided to buy this Macbook Pro 2017 with a lot of fear after reading in the reviews that things not always go well, but anyway with no few doubts I made the decision and I bought it. And lo and behold, I couldn't be more satisfied. My biggest fear was to see that the laptop arrived in a very simple cardboard box, I would say a poor packaging, only partially secured and with packing tape. But don't worry, inside there was a jewel very well protected by on of those inflatable packaging. Once the box was opened I could not believe it, it was new to the naked eye. The exterior was simply spotless, it had minimal scratches, something like if it had been used for a month, the screen had a tiny 1 cm scratch, but so small that the screen needs to be turned off and one must make a lot of effort to find it. I think the charger and cable are not original, they look good anyway. The battery was half full and it took me less than an hour to fully charge it. I upgraded the OS to High Sierra in about 1 hour 15 minutes. The battery on the other hand has 219 cycles and its status marks as normal. While I ordered space gray and got a silver one I really can't complain. It is the first time that I have an Apple computer and I have been using only 24 hours to realize that this Laptop is in very good condition, it turned on very quickly, is fast and everything works wonderfully. ... show more

  • Better than expected
Color: Silver Set: Core i5 Dual Core, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD
This MacBook is honestly very good and I’m impressed. It’s in great condition but it did come dirty and I just cleaned it and everything is fine. I do have concerns about the battery life, maybe it’s because of the game I was playing or something but it went from 100% to 78% in less than 15 minutes. Another thing is the “i” key on the keyboard is a bit stuck and it types out twice like this “ii” but that really about it, everything else is great. This is my first MacBook and i was honestly scared of getting a cheap laptop because every time i did it couldn’t run the simple stuff that i wanted it to do. This MacBook can handle basic gaming like Roblox and Minecraft. It went through so smoothly. Another thing is when I’m searching the web and try to go to a website, it doesn’t pop up it’s like it’s loading but it’s not. It isn’t with all the websites i look up but it’s with just some of them. Overall a great laptop I recommend! Edit: I think I’m going to bring this rating to a 4. Firstly, I forgot to mention the sound quality, it’s amazing honestly I can have the volume up about three to four notches and it dang near sounds like I’m in a movie theater, but the thing is I’m bringing this down to a 4 because this laptop is pretty old and doesn’t support a lot of things like I can’t even watch Netflix from off this laptop and I don’t even know how to access so many things on here. The App Store is stupid I’m trying to look up how to navigate everything because maybe that’s my problem but I don’t even know what year this thing is let alone know how to find out the year so it’s hard because if I just look up “MacBook Pro” YouTube thinks I’m talking about one of the newer ones. Like I said before this is a pretty good laptop but it’s so outdated and I can barely get any games on here. Like I got steam the other day but steam barely even have fun games that supports macOS. (Just in case anybody wanted to know about downloading steam). This is my review on this laptop. ... show more
