So at first, I was a little scared to purchase a refurbished laptop especially an Apple product, but I am very happy with my purchase. The screen is great. The keys function properly. The outside is amazing. Do not have any problems with it I waited two weeks to do this review just to see if I had any problems, but none what so Ever.     • Computer looked band new.
The computer came in looking like new. I was delighted, especially after reading a couple of previous reviews. I did have trouble transferring my outer Mac's information over to this one, but that was due to my needing to update the operating system. I just backed up to a startup drive, which downloaded quickly on the new system. I did have trouble with a couple of USB-C ports not working to charge the computer. I reset the SMC, which fixed the problem. Once the charging issue was resolved, everything worked great. I only gave 4 stars because the charger, as others have said, is aftermarket. That would have been ok with me, but the charger works intermittently. The first night I had the computer, you could hear it binging each time the charger went out and came back on. Fortunately, I had my other Mac's charger available, which worked perfectly. Also, the battery life could be better. The cycle count shows 110 left versus 1000 for a new Mac. ... show more

I needed to replace my Macbook Pro but didn't want to pay full price for a personal use one. I tried one of the internet refurbish shops that didn't work out at all. Then I came here and took a chance. I'm thrilled with my Mac. Works flawlessly . Does everything I expect from a Mac and looks and performs like brand new. Luckily, I bought this laptop for personal use and ended up with a different computer for work purposes or else I’d be much more upset with this purchase. The battery life is absolutely terrible. It does not stay alive unless directly plugged in to the charger and when it dies, it takes an eternity to turn back on. If you need a computer to do anything other than scroll the internet occasionally, I would recommend looking elsewhere ... show more

had to change my review. the laptop does look excellent just the cord they sent was dingy and not working but the charging block is Apple not the cord though. gonna have someone check it out to be sure. no scratches or dents. it did not come with original box. the way it was packaged sucked, in a brown box no real protection ... show more

    • I had some issues!
So when I ordered this laptop, I paid like 50 bucks extra to get it shipped to me like two or three days after, the day came and I never got it. So I contacted customer service they said my package was stuck at the shipping faculty and they would "raise a flag" for it to be released. I asked if I would be returned the extra shipping for which I was told I would get it back as soon as it was shipped. So bout 48 hrs later I still hadn't gotten any updates on the shipping so I reached out yet again to check on it, they told me it was still stuck at the shipping facility and that he recommended I cancel the package, he offered to cancel it for me and I accepted. WELL THEN, a couple hrs later I get an email about how the package had been shipped so I reached out AGAIN and asked why it hadn't been canceled (which was fine all I wanted was my dang laptop at this point) and she goes on to tell me that they can't cancel things on their end... even though the man told me he was gonna cancel it. So whatever I asked about the refund for the shipping multiple times and they all told me I would get it back... I never got it back, they said in the end they couldn't give it back to me but she wouldn't give me a reason why besides the fact that is "wasn't in their control." Anyways long story short don't pay for faster shipping unless you are okay flushing that money down the drain. The computer is nice, it's in good condition physically. Not really any scratches or anything, but I will say the battery kinda sucks, it runs out so fast when I'm not even doing anything besides school work or watching Netflix, and it runs so hot sometimes. Definitely wouldn't buy this again, but it's not to say that I completely regret the purchase. If you are a broke college student like me looking for a cheaper option this is the way to go, other people in the reviews have had a lot of good things to say. ... show more
