I ordered this “excellent condition” refurbished MacBook Pro and when I first got it to turn on, the screen wasn’t working. I figured out how to fix that from YouTube but now I’ve had it plugged into the charger for over 8 hours and it is staying at 1%. With a message saying that the battery is essentially shot and needs to be replaced. So, false advertisement considering this item is supposed to be in excellent working condition. Also, even being “refurbished” the battery should not be an issue. Other reviews mention that getting the seller to solve any issue is very difficult but I’ll file a lawsuit under false advertisement. That ought to get their attention. Stay away. ... show more

obviously since it’s refurbished mine came with very little scratches on the bottom and a tiny mark on the scene. the battery works decently and my keys all work well! i think it just depends on what kind of laptop you get. mine came with a sticker kind of case but i just peeled it off because it felt weird. but you can request a return if you get a bad one. but i’m satisfied with my purchase!!! ♥️♥️ it’s a little outdated so the settings look different but it connects to my phone and lets me do my schoolwork and other things. the camera quality is decent but pretty good still. it doesn’t get too warm even if i use it for a few hours. the battery lasts about 4-5 hours for me. the only thing is the plug in for the battery is a bit big but other than that i love it! ... show more

I purchased this laptop specifically to develop iOS apps, so I wasn’t aiming for anything top-of-the-line. That said, for the price, the quality is impressive. There are a few minor scratches on the exterior, but they’re barely noticeable unless you’re looking closely. Comes with Charger. UPDATE: I received a newer version of the MacBook Pro instead of this older version. Certainly not complaining, however do not be disappointed when you don't receive exactly what is shown in the picture.     • Piece of garbage
I got this refurbished. I have had multiple problems since I got this. The keys are not working properly. The touch screen is not working. Then the battery is not staying charged. I work at a school and I purchased this so I could stop using my school district issued chrome book. It is sad for me to say that the school district issued chrome book is working better than this is. I also purchased a protection plan and they are refusing to fix this under the warranty. They are telling me that if I want them to fix it that I will need to pay for it and it will cost at least $400. I did not even spend $400 for the thing to begin with so I refuse to spend at least that amount to get it fixed. I have contacted the seller multiple times and have not heard back. The address they gave is a bogus address in Texas. Then I looked online and there is no phone number that I can find. I finally told them that if I do not hear back within a certain time frame that I am going to my bank to file a fraud complaint. Then file a complaint with consumer protection. First off I would like to start with saying I am beyond pleased, I ordered this computer and read the reviews after the fact and got a little worried, there were a lot of bad reviews I saw and I didn’t know if I should’ve belived them because I have ordered a couple of renewed Apple products off of Amazon before and had no issues. Here is my experience: (I ordered excellent condition for $299) when I got it came bubble wrapped, with a charger and with a “case” (a computer sticker skin). I didn’t need to plug it in it was already charged and I turned it on and set it up, I did run into a problem accepting the terms of service, you have to go back and press set up I cloud later in order to accept the terms, I added my I cloud after the fact, I texted people and FaceTimed time to make sure it worked and it did (sound and camera quality is great) , everything on my phone transferred over immediately contacts, photos, Apple Music, recent messages everything! I didn’t know you couldn’t download apps like Netflix and YouTube, you have to search up the website online sign into it and then set it up as a shortcut and as you can see in my last picture I have everything added into my bar and I turned the computer off and back on to make sure it didn’t sign me out,so far I’ve had no issues with battery drainage it has been open for a long time and barely went down, I also switched over the default browser to chrome to make it easier to use for school you can download that online as well, the only thing wrong with it to my knowledge is the tiny tiny dot on the screen (second pic) it turns black when it’s on and white when it’s turning off and I really don’t care about it I paid $300 and these computers go for over $1000 so I could really care less, overall I love this so much and I’m glad I bought it, it is an amazing deal and really recommend it for anyone wanting one ... show more

The fist laptop delivered had missing screws for rear of case battery 90% of 100. Requested a replacement,the replacement was delivered fast. The 2nd computer was in relatively good condition 7 out of 10 rating. The only issue is the "A" key is broken. Cap keeps falling off. I would give it a rating o 8.5 out of 10 it the key was right. ... show more
