EDIT: 3/25/2021 Well I guess it was too good to be true. The laptop was working perfectly fine, and then today I got the black screen of death. We plugged it in, tried to reset it. Went through all of the trouble shooting steps and it didn’t turn back on. It makes the chiming sound like it wants to turn on, but then it just doesn’t. The keyboard lights don’t turn on, and the screen is just blacklit. I’m very saddened by this development. We have requested a refund. Hopefully the return will be smooth. Also when you print the return label you also get a letter that says that Kanga Supply reserves the right to charge you a 20% restocking fee if they find you returned the product that isn’t defective. They also say they’ll charge you “up to a 50% fee” if you don’t remove your account from the device and turn off find my Mac. Since my screen is black I have been unable to remove my account. Hopefully they don’t charge me 50% of $900 because the screen isn’t working and I can’t remove my account. 😭😭😭😭 ............ I have wanted a MacBook for the longest time. But the price was just so much more than I have ever been willing to spend. But this year we finally decided to splurge on a MacBook. I was so happy to find this listing. I was able to get the larger storage size for cheaper than a brand new smaller storage MacBook. I was super worried about it being delivered. I was worried it would be damaged in transit. It was not. It was wrapped very nicely in a very thick bubble wrap. It arrived with 7% battery life and looks brand new. The battery has 80/1000 cycles used so it wasn’t used a lot. However since it is the intel chip and not the m1 the battery life isn’t excellent. I used zoom for about 1.5 hours and the battery dropped from 100% to about 70%. It’s not terrible but I would definitely recommend bringing the charger or a backup battery pack along with the MacBook. The shipping was excellent and it even arrived a day earlier than expected. Overall it is an excellent purchase and I’m very very glad we went with it. ... show more

I wanted to try out a MacBook, since I have an iPad and an iPhone. (I have always been a PC user.). I didn't want to spend a small fortune for a new laptop, since I still find myself navigating in PC world. I read the reviews and felt a little concern at the condition of some of the laptops that had been purchased. I was also concerned about receiving one that had previously been a school's or company's computer (and that I might not be able to wipe it completely clean). Those concerns were unnecessary. The MacBook arrived in excellent condition and well-packaged. It has few minor cosmetic flaws, hardly noticeable and not at all affecting the performance of the laptop. The operating system needing updated, which was a process similar to the iPad or iPhone. What I love about Apple products is that the device doesn't go obsolete quite as fast as a PC. I completed two updates to get it to the current Mac OS Big Sur. While it took two updates, the process was seamless without even one single hiccup. The battery life is decent but not fantastic. It is running 4-5 hours before needing recharged. While it did come with a nice charging cord, I do believe it is an aftermarket and not an Apple charger; however, it still works well with the MacBook and does not demonstrate any conflicts. I love the size and clarity of the screen. 11.6 inches is perfect! It is lightweight and very portable. I am still becoming accustomed to using the apps in a Mac environment. The biggest part of the learning curve involves finding things in the Mac environment, closing applications instead of everything running in the background, and learning how to navigate in a desktop environment. Many things, however, feel somewhat intuitive since I have been an iPhone/iPad user for at least a decade. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase! ... show more

It's a very nice MacBook. I'm surprised how good it works, considering that it's renewed. There is a couple of things that I don't like about it. First you have to click on the document and/or picture more than once to either open it or get it to load. The second is the processor, it would be so nice if the processor was an Intel i7 or i9. That's about the only things that truly bothers me about this MacBook. It's faster than expected, but I do try to keep as little documents on it as possible; mostly I just have photos and I save a lot to flash drives. Other than those two issues I'm not dissatisfied with the purchase and would definitely purchase this laptop again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Seems to be working good besides that I have a few problems the charger was broken,scratches,dent in bottom corner. It says in the description "refined excellent condition"
