I like everything about this iPod, except for having to charge it every night. I listen to it at work for about 4 hours and it’s in the red. When I charge it, it says 99% charged, never 100%. I don’t know if that’s accurate because sometimes it’ll say “65% charged” right after plugging it in when it was in the red! Weird! ... show more

    • iPod Touch - best MP3 player on the market!
I am a huge fan of the iPod Touch. Since I am afraid of getting hooked on an iPhone and going broke on data fees, I prefer to use an old fashion (CHEAP) cell phone and plan. I do all my instagram, facebook and social media needs on my iPod, as well as listen to audio books. I love the storage of the 64gb, so I can load the iPod up with many pictures and audiobooks. My only compliant, which is directed toward Apple, is the battery life!! C'mon Apple! Since I listen to my iPod for hours upon hours on a daily basis, I can kill an iPod battery in about 16 - 18 months. The camera is great! I want to like it but it gets super hot and doesn't hold a charge. It even has a hard time holding the charge when it's plugged in

Bought the 6th Gen in Gold 64 GB, got a renewed version, but I feel like I got a brand new one ...it came without a scratch or mark on it, everything reset , perfect condition. The battery lasts and charges well. It did come in a brown box with a charger, but no earbuds, which I thought the description mentioned earbuds...no big deal.     • Not nearly as good as iPod Classic
I use an iPod to connect my entire music collection to my car stereo. My iPod Classic did that flawlessly, and since I use the car stereo to navigate through the music on the iPod the touch screen is completely unimportant. I only bought this because my iPod classic had died and classics are becoming harder to find. With my classic I could (using the car stereo's navigation) tell it to play a specific album and it would play it, and if my journey ended and I returned to the car it would always pick up where I left off. With the iPod touch will play the album I chose but doesn't always continue where I left off, sometimes it plays something else at random. With my iPod classic I could tell it to "Play All" from a specific artist and it would play each album in order with each song on the album playing in order, But the iPod touch insists that "Play ALL" means "Shuffle". Sometimes when I return to the car it doesn't matter what I was listening to when I left off, it just decides that it's going to play a shuffle of my entire music collection. Apple should know better than to discontinue a product before the successor functions as well. ... show more
