This iPod did not work. It allowed me to sign in and load some data, but then it continually crashed. I returned three weeks ago and have still not received a refund.

    • Very large memory
I have a very large cd/album collection and was able to fit ALL of it on this iPod with over half of the memory remaining! Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll be filling it up any time soon. I love not having to worry about things like that.

I've been using this for our camper to connect to BT. When my really old one died, I knew I wanted to replace it as I didn't want to tie up my phone while listening to tunes. I replaced by old 128 GB iPod with a refurbished one. Reviews indicated that charging heated up the iPod and that's been my experience too. When I plug it in, I'm always around to ensure it's not getting too hot. I purposefully rest it on an item that wouldn't be affected by the heat. Otherwise, it works fine. But to be truly refurbished, I would have expected this problem to have been addressed prior to distribution. ... show more

It pains me to write a bad review about a piece of equipment I love so much. I am giving two stars because the return from Amazon was exceptional. Unfortunately, the iPod didn't work for very long. I am an iPod person! I was devastated when Apple quit making them! So, I saw this one and was initially hesitant with the “refurbished.” I looked at it a long time before I hit BUY. I received it and it was in perfect-looking condition. Not a single scratch or blemish - it looked brand new, which I was happy about. It came with a brand new Apple charging cord and the earbuds. I quickly set it up. I knew from other reviews that the battery was not as good as a new one, but that was okay - battery life was decent. I used it for about a month and a half (it had a good 90-day refund policy). Then, for no reason, the screen faded to dark gray then black and would not come back on (yes, it WAS charged). I tried the on/off button with volume button trick but it would not come back on (even plugged it in to charger). All my stuff was on it so I didn’t send it back right away. About 5 days later, I tried it and it came back on. YAY! Again, it started working fine - for a bit. Then SAME THING - dark gray, fade to black, won’t come on. I waited another week, trying to turn it on (even plugged in), and nothing. Finally, it came on and I erased anything; reset to factory to return. If it was a couple bucks, I wouldn’t whine — but, it was $400.00! I boxed it up to send back. The return was exceptional: A super nice UPS guy came and picked it up within a day (on 2/5/2024) - he even provided the label and gave me a timed receipt. Within a few days (4 to be exact), I had the complete amount refunded to my credit card, including what I paid for shipping. Awesome return service from Amazon! I was impressed with the return because it said it could take up to 30 days to issue a refund, but I had it in just a few days. I am heartbroken this didn't work out for me (so sad!); I really wanted it to be a good purchase, but I am happy it was so easy to get the refund issued! ... show more

    • Seller lacks Integrity
I ordered this item well before Christmas. When I was notified that it wouldn't arrive on time ,I tried to cancel the order for that reason. The seller then sent a message assuring me that it would arrive before Christmas. It did. It is now Christmas morning, my Wife who had a debilitating illness opened it and..... IT'S DEFECTIVE!!!!!!! It won't power up and it won't charge !!!! In my opinion, I have a strong suspicion that the seller purposely sent a defective product just to meet the shipping deadline and avoid the order cancelation. I am beyond disappointed and extremely pissed off ! Thanks for ruining someone's Christmas!!!!! GFY ! ... show more
