Purchased this phone in acceptable condition from DirectCertified. Condition ordered Acceptable. I upgraded from an iPhone 7 because my service provider told me Apple was no longer sending the required security updates for older phones. I wanted a newer/newest I could afford with a small screen still. I was going to go for the SE2 since it was about the same price. I realized this phone had a larger screen in an even smaller form factor. So, I went for this one. I received it about a week earlier, in 2 days. It actually shipped the night I purchased. It came in near perfect condition, there is a small hairline on the screen but it's only noticeable in light. I'm not even sure if it's on the screen itself or the screen protector though. Phone works great, it is using my 7 as a hotspot (I think that's what it's called?). For some reason it's not getting a signal with the SIM card (and my company doesn't have eSim, looking into switching companies since they've been no help). The 7 works perfect with the same sim card and they are right next to each other. I'm not sure if it's because it's using the 7 as well or whatever it's called. Or not. As long as it works on WiFi right now, I'm fine until I get it sorted out, which is nothing to do with the phone itself. Ordered the pink color and it's gorgeous. I did notice my photos/videos have a yellow tint don't look the most natural to me, but I'm assuming it's something in the settings. Not sure. it def looks much different from photos taken with the 7 color wise. ... show more

I bought an “Acceptable” condition phone and would say the physical condition was “Excellent”, however the battery was at 86% which made me understand why it was put in the “Acceptable” category. The above being said I’m still very pleased with my purchase and would still give it 5 stars due to the savings over a new one along with the “Acceptable” vs. “Excellent” condition savings. And the thing to keep in mind is if you have some technical know-how you can get and install a new battery on the cheap on your own (or take it in for a replacement), and still save. ... show more

This phone is in perfect condition and truly is like new, except I realized that the phone didn't have location sharing abilities. There was no option to see my friends' location in iMessage and there was no "people" tab in Find My. I called Apple support and they informed me this is because the phone was originally purchased in a region where location sharing is not supported. So returning and hoping to get one that was purchased in a region where location sharing is supported... I searched the reviews for "location" and nothing came up so maybe this is not very common and I just happened to get one of the few phones with this issue. ... show more

UPDATED Review: Initially I was understandably unhappy. The phone I received was locked and had been reported stolen. That said, I worked with the seller and they were very supportive and helped me with an alternative option. I would give 5 stars but have not received the new phone yet to ensure it works properly but I am happy with the seller for working with me and look forward to the replacement product.
