Description

The 11" iPad Pro from Apple, updated from the same one you know and love, steps up from its previous 10.5" design and ditches the Home button for a display that's more screen and less bezel. Built with the same Liquid Retina technology found on the iPhone XR, the iPad Pro's 11" display features a 2388 x 1668 resolution, ProMotion technology, wide color and True Tone support, as well as a 600 cd/m2 brightness rating. No fancy box, Samsung charger, but perfect iPad. There were some scratches around the charging port from where people obviously fumbled to find the USB-C port (but literally everyone's going to do that, it's what we get for threading a metal plug into a hole surrounded by metal) and that was it. No scratches on the screen, no corner/edge blur/weird coloration/slow responding screen nothing, it's just a very very gently used like-new iPad pro. Battery's great too, Amazon guarantees 80% of total battery life as though I have a real measure for what that means, what I can tell you in practice is, after about 5 hours of watching Netflix while I'm working at full brightness I need to plug in. When I'm drawing on it after about 3 hours, I haven't even thought about the battery. When I'm goofing off with synths in Garageband for and hour or two, I still haven't thought about the battery. If it's only 80% of the overall life, I would have literally no idea. What I'm saying is, I'm sure there are duds, I'm sure Amazon would refund them. I didn't get a dud, I got what is essentially a brand new iPad Pro from 2018 that I will be using for the next ~4 years for my design work, watching TV, browsing the internet, and goofing off with synths. I had a hard time choosing between this and the new iPad Air, and honestly, I don't think either is a bad choice. Overall though, the lesser storage with the more fluid screen mattered to me. I've got a phone with a high refresh rate screen, and it makes everything feel better. Dieter Bohn said in a review of the new iPad Air vs the regular iPad, something like "it's a nicer experience than the regular iPad, and when it comes to devices, whatever feels better to you is what's going to matter over time." and he was right. To me, I'm not working with huge space hungry files so storage isn't a huge concern, and day to day, I will feel better with the faster snappier screen when I'm scrolling through newsfeeds. Overall, if you're debating whether or not to get a new iPad Air, a new Pro, or this one, and the "Renewed" thing is a factor that's scaring you, for real, do not worry, compare them as though this was also "new" ... show more

I ordered this 1st gen iPad Pro after doing a lot of research. A few things were important to me: price, sound, battery health, and charging. All exceeded my expectations. The price was very good. The sound quality is excellent and does not distort on the highest setting when I want to listen to music, books or movies and am not right next to the iPad. The battery health is 92% which with this renewed product this age I expected at 88% as promised. Finally, I wanted charging with a usb-c to usb-c. This was the first generation to use that method and why I started my search at 1st gen. It takes good pictures although that’s not what I bought it for. I did want much higher than 64GB storage and this unit has it. I imagine it will be good for a work tablet alternative but that’s not why I purchased it. I got it for entertainment only and I’m very pleased with my iPad Pro 1st generation. The shipping was quick. Required a signature, which I appreciated because our post will sometimes just throw packages next to the mailbox along the road. It was well packed. I do wish it would have come with a usb-c to usb-c charging cable and charger rather than the usb-c to usb charger and cord but that didn’t affect my thoughts on the value of this iPad Pro nor my rating of the product. I have plenty of cords and chargers. The iPad itself has no scratches or dings anywhere. The screen is great, and has a screen protector on it that it arrived with. I selected refurbish- excellent quality. Highly disappointed it has multiple scratches on the main screen not the screen protector that it came with. One of the corners is dented. It is a huge disappointment. Refurbish excellent quality in my mind has a completely different exception when receiving a product. I hope this review helps other choose wisely. Also take into consideration that the product does work just fine. However when in procreate randomly i saw two very thin lines apear on the screen. They would disappear and reappear randomly. Not sure if that is a software issue or display. I am pretty sure the screen is not original and 3rd party repaired. If i had a choice again i would not buy from this seller again. Huge disappointment. worst excellent condition i have ever seen. The seller should be banned from selling for falsifying quality condition. ... show more

The iPad works good, but the iPad came in a thin bubble bag inside a box, with cord & charger. The iPad I ordered was supposed to be in excellent condition. It arrived with some cracks & the top upper right corner of the screen had several cracks. I’m guessing it happened during shipping from the way it was packed. After a hour in a half charging with the box & cord that it came with we figured out they didn’t work right. The iPad was still dead. I went and purchased a iPad charger box & cord which charged it great. No big deal about the cord & box it came with. I’m pretty disappointed with the cracks but it’s not worth sending it back being the ups store is a hour in a half away to send it back for exchange. The iPad itself works great. I will upload pictures once I get home. ... show more
