The Amazon restored machines are a tremendous value and this one was no exception. I've had it now for a couple of months, use it daily, and it's as good as new. It was delivered exactly as described. The battery is certainly in a used state (as would be expected from a, yes, used laptop) with a good number of charge cycles but it's certainly not worse than what I would expect. Bought a 2017 MacBook Pro computer from this seller for $598, not even a year ago. Wasn’t expecting this to last forever, but hoping to get a couple years out of it. Took very good care of the laptop and kept it up to date with all software, still would run slow. Yesterday out of nowhere the computer completely stopped turning on altogether. Brought it to the Apple Store to see what the issue was and they told me the main switchboard part in the computer died rendering the computer useless. Being that this isn’t even a year old, it is evidently clear that the seller knowingly sold me a dying computer. Contacted the seller about the defective computer they sold me and received an automated response (pictured). It is very clear this company is a chop shop for laptops. They are selling defective computers and show no remorse for it, very poor customer service as well. If you are considering buying from this company, DONT, I would look elsewhere. Refurbished or not, the computer should last more than a year and should not have the most necessary part of a computer die completely. ... show more

It all happened one night when I was about to head home from a party with my buddy Matt. This would be like any other night except this night I knew I had to cross the metaphorical Rubicon and break up with my girlfriend. Me and Matt were buddies but not super close as to where I would inform him of my plans to plummet head-first into a life of singleness. As Matt and I walked to our car, I saw her in the parking lot and knew the moment had come. Setting my backpack down in front of the car and told Matt I would only be a minute. Anyway, you can imagine what followed. This conversation went long and nasty, and Matt grew impatient and pulled the car forward to tell me it was time to go. I will never be able to shake the sound of the crunch of my 2017 Apple MacBook Pro with touch bar, 3.1GHz Intel Core i5, and 13" retina display as Matt ran over my backpack. The color wasn't grey space and the battery life showed a warning message that the battery needs service. But for the price I am also conscient that the laptop is usable good, has a great sound, image quality is fast, The specifications said 16Gb and it came with 8GB, still, the price versus the product is still accessible. ... show more

This was sold as an excellent condition laptop. I even paid a bit more than I wanted to since it was excellent vs just good. When it arrives, it boots right up, the battery life seems great, there are minor nicks on the edges, no big deal. But then I noticed the keycaps. They are worn down BAD. Instead of refurbishing them properly by getting a cheap set of replacement keys, they opted to put stickers on the keys. See the image for reference. This is severely misleading. I'm gonna keep it, because I don't feel like spending two weeks waiting for a refund, and then another two weeks getting a new one. But just be warned, they have a very different definition of excellent condition. ... show more
