Someone recommend that I try buying a refurbished model for Amazon and here I am! This computer has been running like a charm and I find the Touch Bar fun to use. This computer has really allowed me to make my work mobile and its absolutely cleaned. No traces of past owner. The battery life works just fine. Anything longer than 3 hours is a bit excessive and sounds like ppl should take a break from work, haha~ Anyway, the whole computer is solid and in great. condition.     • Defective even at the highest price
When I received it I was given a charging brick that would NOT even plug into any outlet I had so I ended up using my iPad brick. It finally turned out but I instantly noticed battery issues the second it was at 15% or so and it would jump up to 40% randomly then back to 15% or even less or just a tiny bit more in the 20% range, after trying to even log into my iCloud account, the laptop would just be in an endless loading loop so I never managed to log into my iCloud account. In addition to all of this the laptop would randomly just shut off (more battery issues) which is when I just gave up on it completely since no matter if it was plugged in at all times, it would randomly drop to 0% and die on the spot with minutes long wait times to boot back up again, some other issues were in the keyboard, the “n” key would have to be pressed deep to type the letter or it wouldn’t budge at all, same thing for the spacebar. This purchase was a complete waste of time, even at the highest price of $440~ I basically just bought a useless piece of junk laptop that can not function at all. ... show more

it is great quality, but as it’s refurbished, you might not be able to tell by appearance, but internally the battery is definitely not as it was back in 2020. I am most please with my macbook pro purchase. I wanted a new laptop that was not breaking the bank on price. However, the charger seems to be old and kinda working. This was a Christmas gift. Worst gift ever. When I first opened the box, there was a cover sticker on the computer, I’m guessing to cover the sticker marks that were left behind and burned into the computer. When that was removed, it showed all of the scratches and sticker residue left by the person before. I don’t know why they would sell this to someone. it is not hard to notice. While trying to log in with apple, it kept turning off randomly and would not let me continue. Do not purchase this computer. Do more research and look at reviews. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these MacBook Pro 2017 with Touch Bars and both were duds, let me explain. The first I purchased just this year in 2022 July, received promptly, and immediately noticed flaws. Paint was beginning to peel from some keys but that was not nearly as bad as the problem with the sticky keys! Now I am fully aware of Apple's Butterfly 2 keyboard issues (which this MacBook featured), but this had multiple sticky keys and keys that were not fully responsive. Right out of the box! The screen was in good condition however and the MacBook powered on well. I was able to easily run my work applications (Teams, Slack, Chrome, Firefox) simultaneously without an issue. It was great because I could connect this with my iPad wirelessly as a second touchscreen display. I contacted the seller who wouldn't offer a replacement, so I ordered a second model and planned to return the first when it arrived. Today the second model arrived and this one had much worse cosmetic damage to it. Cracks along the corners of the display panel, and mystery liquid stains. There was also an issue powering on this display but after continuously holding power key, I was able to get the display on. For sure won't be keeping either of these unfortunately.
