Apiguard is a good product for treating varroa mites in honeybees so for that reason I'm giving this more stars rather than fewer. However, the box of trays that was shipped to me CONTAINED ONLY 9 OF THE 10 TRAYS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO CONTAIN! I didn't spot this until several days after receipt, when I went to divvy up the trays between a beekeeping friend and myself. ... show more

I did a 4-6 week treatment and I only gave half the dose because it was hot weather above 90° and some beekeepers recommended that you didn't give them the full dose with it being that hot. Well the treatment didn't work at all and now I have a higher back count than ever after checking with an alcohol wash. Now I'm having to retreat with the full recommended dose so I would only recommend using it according to directions. If I can't get my mite count under control I won't be buying this product again. ... show more
