Wow this thing is a pain to assemble, but it is worth it! Beautiful & very well constructed, down to the packaging which is excellent (it takes almost half an hour just to unbox and lay everything out). The first 75% of the assembly is pretty straight forward and easy - doable with one person but definitely helps to have two, especially if you both have drills and a ladder. As many others have mentioned, the roof panels are a royal pain. You’ll see in the instructions, but there are ‘R’ pieces and ‘Q’ pieces which must be overlapped and slid in together as one piece. However, there is no way from the manufacturer to secure the pieces together. My wife & I ended up using command Velcro strips to attach them together and reading through the comments, others used double sided tape or even duct tape. Warning to all - figure this piece out before you attempt! If not you’ll drive yourself insane - strong double sided tape would be the best option IMO. When it comes to sliding in the panels, I suppose it’s possible to do it yourself but it is 10x more efficient with two people. You need one person to slide and the other to guide and push up on the panel from inside the structure on a ladder. If not, it’s really hard to get the piece to snap into place. Also note that once you get the panels in, the instructions vaguely mention snapping in a V piece but doesn’t explain it well. There is a baggie of little plastic V’s that you can pop in between the panels and bars to secure them until you’re ready to put on the final frames. The curtain / mosquito net is also not the most intuitive to figure out, I recommend keeping them zipped together and not detaching them like I did…caused me another half hour of mental Tetris to get them correct. You probably couldn’t pay me to assemble this again but I’m glad I did, it really does look great. For those who are saying it leaks, it doesn’t as long as you do it right. My assumption is you installed the panels upside down and the water is flowing towards you. You can fix it but you’ll have to take all of the panels off and reinstall. Definitely a great deal and a great addition for a backyard - just exercise patience and pay attention when you’re assembling…good luck! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have a new built and my backyard is very bare. After getting my backyard landscaping done, I needed a gazebo for some shade and an area to relax under. Researching for a gazebo was no easy task as there are ample options out there. I didn’t want to spend thousands on a gazebo but wanted something decent. A fabric one would not cut it since it is too flimsy. I finally decided on this metal once since the price point is right. My son and husband installed the gazebo. It took a little longer than expected since we had to figure out where to put it and needed to drill the gazebo in the cement. But the instructions were straightforward and not confusing to follow. I like the fact that this gazebo has a metal top but it is lightweight. It was easy to move around after installation, although it requires one man at every post. The gazebo does a great job at giving me a shaded spot to rest. It also has two sets of curtains that can cover the entire gazebo. One set is a net curtain so the breeze can pass through. This is great for when I need a breeze on a hot day. The other set of curtain completely blocks out the sun and heat, which is great for the summer months when it gets too hot. I also added a set of string lights, which makes the gazebo so beautiful at night. Because the middle part is metal, I was able to hang a fan as well for additional breeze. So far, this gazebo is a great addition to my back yard. It would have been nice if I had a pool too, but it still looks amazing and I’ve put it to good use. Can’t wait to bbq and hang out under the shade more often during the spring months. ... show more

    • Good quality, assembly is a pain

As stated in other reviews, you will need at least people, each with their own Allen wrench, and preferably two ladders. Unfortunately I did mine by myself over 3 part time days, no rushing. Please take your time and read the instructions. Go see the youtube video. The parts are labeled well, the screw come in a great divider, which is fantastic. Ok let’s get to it, the roof is a nightmare to install. A pain in the rear. I couldn’t get the two parts to stay together. I installed the bottom part of the triangle pieces first. Duct taped it in place then i did the upper triangle. I saved the middle rectangle pieces for last. The rectangular pieces installed as advertised. My family really likes the gazebo. I keep a battery powered fly swatted inside to zap the bugs. Next I will get LED lights. Then sandbags to keep the screens from flapping in the breeze ... show more
