This gazebo is worth every penny !! We've gotten so many compliments and maybe have sold a couple for the company. It is very well built, the instructions are extremely good, the parts inventory is spot on, and it has withstood some pretty heavy rainstorms so far this summer.     • Watch videos, follow advice, take your time

We love it, well worth it. Anyone can put this together if you are smart about it. Take your time, organize the parts. Make sure it's plumb and level. Don't take short cuts. We followed a couple of reviews on here and watched a few youtube videos. The best piece of advice was sort your parts into containers and label them. If you are not mechanically inclined, get help. Two of us put this together with two ladders in 3 sessions. In total, going slow, about 16 hours. This is the first time we have been able to use our patio in 5 years. We have had canvas tops for the last 30. They either blow apart in the wind, rip, or the top sags with water when it rains. The frames get bent out of shape and you can't repair them. This is permanent. Also, our patio has a slope diagonally that we had to deal with. It drops about 4" from one corner to the other. We anchored two pieces of 2x6 AC2 ground contact treated lumber under the posts as needed and purchased concrete anchors for those. Then we used 3" deck screws with washers to anchor the posts to that. It's also easier to put in the panels without tightening them in right away because you might have to shimmy others in. You don't want to have to go back and loosen stuff up to adjust. All in all, would do it again. We also fit a 40" patio table, 4 chairs, a wicker rocker and two large wicker chairs inside. The dog is in the middle with her cushion! It's full. We did have one storm so far with 50mph wind, it didn't even creak! It certainly didn't even attempt to blow away like the old canvas ones we had. Would do it again, wish our patio was bigger. I think this just might work as a green house for seed starting in the spring, that would be a bonus. There are clear sides for pop up tents that would fit I think on Amazon. ... show more

Was pleasantly surprised at how easily it went up. I did most of it alone with a little help from my wife handing me things when I was on a ladder. It took me approximately 6 hours. Everything lined up well and the directions along with watching the video at specific times definitely helps. It looks good and has already withstood one windy storm with another one due tonight. I was really excited about this. It looked gorgeous after it was completed. 1st wind storm was too much stress for this. I tried to contact seller. Amazon says contact is through them. Cannot really describe issue outside of prompted and generalized answers. No returns or replacement. I purchased the extra warranty in the event of damage. There's an act of God clause. So $600 down the drain after a windstorm. No telling how it would hold up facing something worse. All I really wanted was for the seller to send another leg for it. We just finished installing it and it took over 12 hours, but it was mostly my husband and I occasionally stepped in. I recommend more hands if you’re trying to complete the install quicker. It looks great and provides great shade. We live in FL so hoping it withstands all the storms and hurricane season, we shall find out soon. Roof panels are not metal, beware. They’re very thin, just hoping those also hold up. Some curtain pieces came threaded, assuming it’s because they’re mass produced by machines. We just snipped affected areas. A couple of the roof panels have tiny tiny flaws but hardly noticeable. Directions very clear and beautiful piece overall. ... show more

Ok, well, the gazebo LOOKS nice! We had a cloth top since before Covid. After replacing the roof tarp twice, I decided to get this hard top. The good: 1. sunlight shines through the top. The soft top got dark faster. 2. You can hang two outdoor fans on the hooks 3. It's easy to hang lights and not get in the way of the curtains The bad: 1. Sort of flimsy. The frame isn't as strong as the soft top I had 2. Smaller than 10 feet (see attached photo) My previous gazebo was 10x12 and the frame on the soft top was larger. 3. The curtains are too small. You cannot tie them to the legs when zipped up. So, the wind blows the curtains all the way into the gazebo carrying the rain with it. 4. The roof leaks under the upper roof. There is too much space between the lower roof and the upper roof. Again, if it's raining and the wind blows, your furniture and will get wet. If you're looking for a cool gazebo and using as a nice yard feature, this is pretty cool. In our case, we have furniture and other accessories that now do not fit completely under the gazebo. I would NOT recommend getting this gazebo unless you want something that's just a step up from a pop-up gazebo. ... show more
