The engineering and manufacturing on this kit are actually pretty impressive for the price point. The kit went together fairly well, I didn’t have to drill any holes (although I did have to disassemble and flip a few pieces around, like 8L/8R and the sheetmetal for one of the doors).because the holes only align with one possible orientation but the instructions don’t highlight this fact. The panels are all wrapped in a plastic wrap that is infuriating to get off; I left most of the wrap on the panels because it wasnt worth my effort. My kit was missing the instructions and I lost a whole weekend I could have used for assembly waiting for a response from the company. I was able to assemble it all without help - two people would be easier but it is possible if you’re solo. The “base” is not a floor, but a floor frame, so expect to have to buy and install a sheet of plywood if you want to put a floor in. Comes with cheap “L” stakes for attaching to soft ground but nothing like concrete anchors if you will put it on a pad or patio. Lots of extra hardware, glad they addressed that issue. ... show more

    • Not 8x6!!! No floor! Not waterproof

This is the WORST product i have ever bought off Amazon! It says 8x 6 feet. It’s 5 feet. That one foot x 8 feet could hold a lot! I am pissed that i lost 8 feet when i chose this shed for the exact size 8x6. There is no floor like advertised. The “floor” is upwards of 50 skinny metal slats that leave 6 inch gaps between them. It is not a solid floor. AND it is only about a half inch tall. There is absolutely no way this shed is waterproof. There are a million tiny holes all over the metal. They provide the smallest screws with tiny plastic washers that are supposed to be screwed under that’s supposed to keep out water, however that’s impossible because more than half of the holes on the roof don’t line up. I am going to have to silicone it stucco the entire roof to prevent water from seeping in. The “windows” are plastic and are supposed to be held in place by 2 small screws that don’t even sit flush against the metal. The directions have words misspelled and with the complexities of the pieces and how they are numbered it’s impossible for any amateur to put this together. The directions say 3-4 hours with two people. There were 4 of us and it took over 7 hours and the doors/“floor” are still not yet built or attached. DO NOT PURCHASE and save yourself a huge headache. ... show more

It was delivered about 2-3 days before expected delivery! It took my son and son in law about 5 hours all together to put together and it was very hot out so there were definitely some breaks. A lot of pieces and it came with 2 pairs of gloves because the metal can be sharp. I was skeptical about the finished product size at first because it looks smaller all built but it fits a lot and very sturdy. It does not come with a base or floor which I must have missed in the description but I not only recommend but would buy again. ... show more

The shed was relatively easy to assemble. Directions are terrible but it’s mostly images so easy enough to work through. Only issue was the doors. They never aligned despite lots of fidgeting and bending. Decided to just jimmy-rig them on and it’s fine but not pretty. Only other issue, even knowing the size, it’s incredibly small and barely fits a mower and a rake. Other than that decent shed all around ... show more

I took me over a month to decide on a shed ... Plastic or metal?? And the there's the Price ... $500 or $1500?? I decided on this shed which was offering $100 off, but it wasn't a Prime item so the shipping was $100. Still I got the shed at the price I wanted to spend on a "metal" and the size I desired. 10X8. The metal is decent. There are some gaps upon completion but I think I'll caulk it to fill them in to make certain it will be water proof. Here's some tips: -if you're building your own base as I did, make sure to make it AT LEAST, 98" long and 105" wide! Or else you will be short! -take your time ... there's no quick way to install 600 screws. - USE A MAGNETIC TIP on your drill bit or screw driver. You will have to hold panels in place while screwing them tight. A magnetic driver will save your sanity!! -the metal is a little thicker than a beer can. It's a doable shelter for your tools, DON'T COMPLAIN IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO SPEND MORE $$$!! -DO NOT BUILD ON A WINDY DAY ... you will become frustrated!! -OVERLAP All panels to make a "Channel" for water to run down. You will see one end of every panel is somewhat flat and the other side is "U" shaped. Put them correctly to make a channel! All in all I recommend this shed and building you own base. I did this ALL BY MYSELF ... It took me 10 hours from start to finish, so PLAN FOR THIS TO TAKE YOU ALL DAY! And be happy when it's done, don't go back on Amazon shopping for another shed, and wonder if you could have gotten a better deal ... Just enjoy what you have built! ... show more
