I purchased and installed this Aosu 5MP Security Camera Kit with 2 cameras and a WiFi Base Unit nearly one month ago. These high resolution, wide 166-deg viewing angle cameras with 3 different types of built-in motion and human sensors are extremely good. Setup and installation was straightforward and easy. I had previously installed one of their 5MP video doorbells about a year ago and was so impressed with it, I purchased their 5MP security cameras for covering other areas of my property. And because I already had the Aosu app installed on my Android smartphone, these additional security cameras easily just add-on to the app. So now I am able to see and monitor both cameras and my video doorbell simultaneously on the single app. Adding the 2 security cameras to the app was extremely easy. Each camera on the app has the ability to set individual custom settings for each camera if desired. The app also allows the ability via one button selection to view up to 4 live-view cameras simultaneously, which is a very nice feature. I can now view my 2 security cameras and my video doorbell camera live and simultaneously on one screen, with room for another live-view camera in the future. The app also has a Smart Security button which allows individual notification settings for each camera, and the ability to select different notifications for "Home" and "Away" settings that can be easily engaged at the touch of a single button. Also included in this area of the app is the ability to instantly turn on or turn off any individual or all of the cameras at the touch of one single button. These features are very convenient for when you might be working outside within the camera areas, or having guests for a party and you do not want constant notifications beeping on your phone or dozens of videos being recorded that you will later want to delete. As these cameras have rechargeable batteries inside, you can either take them down periodically to recharge the batteries; or you can do what I did and purchase 5 volt/5 watt solar panels with 10ft attached cables that will plug directly into the camera charging port. This allows the cameras to maintain full charge at all times, and never have to be taken down-- a real plus in my mind. I found a convenient twin pack of solar panels on Amazon for about $30 and they are working great. I have found that even when my cameras are triggered and recording up to 60 second videos several times per day, my app-reported camera battery levels have never dropped below 99%, and within a few hours in the sunlight, the panels recharge my cameras back to 100% each day. I definitely recommend this added convenience. The WiFi Base unit connects directly to my WiFi router. Everything needed is included in the kit. Connecting and communicating with my router was simple and straightforward. I have also contacted Aosu a few times with questions, and they have been extremely good, timely and responsive on their replies. They seem to be genuinely interested in supporting users and their products. I have been very grateful for their help, guidance and assistance in answering all my various questions. I highly recommend this product. Follow-up: I purchased another add-on 5MP Aosu security camera for a total of 3 security cameras plus one Aosu video doorbell, all of which are managed in the single Aosu app. These are great products! Follow-up, 8-2024: I have been so pleased with my 3 Aosu C6S security cameras the past several months that I purchased yet another add-on C6S camera to bring my total up to 4 cameras-- the maximum the Homebase unit can accommodate. All the cameras are working well. And I have been in email contact with Ann the Aosu customer service representative again with questions and comments regarding these cameras and she always promptly responds and provides good answers and advice. And occasionally, if she does not know the answer to a more technical issue, she reports it to their technicians and within a few days provides a good answer. This is a true sign of excellent customer service in my opinion. Purchased the 4 piece camera with homebase, installed it on the front, right & left side of our house and one inside the garage. Installation is easy, everything is included to get you started, bracket is innovative as you can easily unmount the camera to charge it if you need to, I can say battery life is great, it just consume 1% even after a lot of testing on it. Camera has a great picture quality, plus the light that turns on when it’s dark is just perfect, you can see things at night easily. Detection is real time, send notification to your phone whenever something moves. App is easy to use, setting up/adding the camera is easy, the app does have a step by step instruction with picture/video to assist you in setting up the device.     • Good System Without A Subscription and Good Customer Service

I ordered the home base and the two-camera system with 2 add on cameras as an upgrade from my 6 year old Arlo Pro system. Setup was easy. I like the fact that I don't have to pay for extra storage and the video quality is better and a wider field of view than my Arlo. The price was decent too. I did have an issue with one of the camera's audio which was barely audible and I was returned/exchanged the 2-camera set with the home base since it was one of the ones from that set (serial number matched the box serial number) and was sent a new box the next day. One of the cameras in the new box had the same sound issue. I was going to exchange it again because I really liked the other three cameras, but this time was only given the option for a refund. I didn't want to send all four cameras back since I was happy with the cameras in general. I contacted AOSU technical support and everything was set correctly. I got several emails from Ann, an AOSU rep, who sent me a new replacement camera with the solar panel. She went above my expectations and wanted to make sure everything was right and I got my new camera and it works well. Anyhow, if it wasn't for Ann, I would've sent the entire system back to Amazon for a refund and looked for another brand camera set. I would recommend this system, but I would just turn the camera on and make sure that the "HELLO" and "GOODBYE" is loud and crisp. That volume will indicate the volume of the two-way audio. I'm very impressed with the quality of the videos. The night vision is very crisp and clear, especially in color. It detects people and vehicles quickly and even reports if whatever was detected is "lingering". It's not as reliable in detecting animals but I'm not concerned as much with critters. The batteries hold a charge for several months, even with frequent viewing. It has a spotlight and a very loud alarm that can be set off at will. It has the capability for speaking and listening to the surroundings. It can even disguise your voice. The area it covers is quite large. You can reduce the area for which it'll alert by specifying it in the settings. I always know when a package is delivered and any time a person is in my yard or on my porch. Even without a memory card, the event videos created are long enough to give you a good sense of what was happening. I definitely recommend these cameras. ... show more
