We searched and searched, reviewed multiple products, and after several hours of looking through pages and pages of dolls, she decided to buy the Aori Lifelike Reborn Baby Boy Doll 22 Inch Handmade Weighted Newborn Baby Doll. It came just as advertised, and actually got to our house several days earlier than promised. The accessories that came with the doll were of high quality (the stuffed bear has jointed legs that move), and the clothes were decent too. My daughter absolutely loves her “realistic baby boy.” He’s fun and pleasantly heavy to carry, fits in size 3 month real baby clothes, which she absolutely adores, and has wonderfully soft “skin.” The only reason he doesn’t get five stars is the fabric of his torso already started to tear just a bit where his neck attaches. We’ve repaired carefully and hope it holds well now. He’s wonderfully made and sturdy so hoping it won’t be a problem. I do recommend this doll for anyone that loves babies like we do! ... show more

My daughter loves babies. She takes her baby everywhere and wants to pretend she's a real mommy. We buy real baby clothes and diapers in Newborn size and she treats him a like a member of the family. It's adorable. Some of these babies have genitals, but this baby has a soft body filled with beads so it does not. He can be heavy for a child if carried for an extended length of time, so I would only make that call out, as on occasion I have been tasked with carrying him around if she takes him somewhere. ... show more
