COMFORT, COMFORTABLE, DID I MENTION COMFORTABLE. The light weight cotton is ideal for summer. I like the crewneck, that is high enough but not turtle neck that protects my chest from the sun. The fit is true to size and comfortable. Thanks!

This item was okay, but still a little snug for the size and I brought this shirt in X-Large. If anyone purchase, you may need to go up 1 size bigger than what you would normally wear.

    • MAJOR SHRINKAGE!
When these shirts (I bought 4) first arrived, they fit great. After washing, they seemed a bit stiff but, were still 'ok'... not great but, would serve the purpose. Once washed again, the shrinkage became obvious. Even stretching and line drying didn't help. With each wash, they get smaller and smaller. Now, after only 3 washes, they're considerably too short, tight in the sleeves and snug in the mid-section. The colors are accurate and they're well sewn but, that's hardly helpful when they're now too small to wear! Luckily, I just found some nicer long-sleeve crew-neck shirts (for less than $5) at Walmart and will stick with them. Softer, warmer, longer body and nicer color choices.     • Well made long sleeves Tee. True to size.
This is s great tee. I'm 5'3' and usually weigh about 140 to 148 lbs. I Like to wear tees under other garments but didn't have a long-sleeved one. I washed it in cool water by hand to remove the dye residue and hung it on a hanger to drip dry. I stretched it into place and it dried perfectly. I noticed that the stitching on the neck, bottom hem and the sleeve ends was perfect. It drip dried and still fit the same way as before. After this I wash it in the washer with other things and dry it in the dryer. I always buy a larger size in most garments as I hate tight fits, with some exceptions. My best advice for clothing purchasing is read the description of the material, read ALL reviews, and read the size charts with applied comprehension. I've only made one mistake and had to return a top that I purchased in a large that wouldn't even fit a small child. Most garments made outside the States usually run small even when the size charts seem accurate unless they are U.S. companies with facilities in other countries. We Southern Mamas run a bit larger than petite Orientals. I'm waiting now to receive the same Tee in a startling pink. Wish other colors were available in long sleeves. ... show more

I love other items from Hanes, but not this. I'm 5' 10" and searched on hip length long-sleeved tops in athletic or active wear. This came up in the results but it barely reaches the top of my hips, if that. The sleeves are not long enough and the fabric is not as soft as I expected it to be right out of the package. I won't buy again. Several other brands in the same price range were a better fit and better quality. ... show more
