This is a great walk in tub however the filler is slower than I would of liked and the instruction to put the drain together were very vague. Also the drain that came with it was very chinsey also. All in all I believe it will work out I just need to figure out how to get the filler to be faster the hole is so small. ... show more

In 2020 I ordered this walk-in tub hoping to relieve arthritis pain. It worked well. We sold that house in 2021 and I didn't have a walk-in for a year. My pain became so pronounced, it affected my mobility. I just bought and installed a second tub to reclaim the relief my first tub brought. A person who buys the same product a second time says it all. It's a very safe, convenient tub for any age, but especially for seniors and anyone suffering joint and muscle pain and stiffness. Unfortunately, the extension is relatively unusable in it's current state. The flanges on the tub and extension are not at 90 degrees and there is no way to just screw them together for a good look. Tub frame is bent, left side front frame is crooked. Fiberglass panel is pulled away/broken from frame in front, and is crooked. The door does not seat properly, and the nut for the bottom piece scrapes the fitting as shown in pictures if you zoom in, look at the bottom hardware and scrape marks. This unit was leveled and plumber verified issues. Please review, this needs either replaced or refund applied. ... show more

This model fits a person below 200 lbs., better. It's nice to be able to shower and bathe in it. Quality parts underneath. I'm adding to my review after owning and using this tub for two plus years. It's like brand new and function very well. I'm a physically challenged veteran and I found this to be a great solution for hygiene which otherwise could not happen. It has provided a safe means for bathing with someone with physical challenges below the waist. The temperature range is great, the propulsion pressure out of the Jets is good, the lighting helps when you're in a darkened room and outside light is not available. The handicap accessible bars offer additional safety for entry and exit. The knob flooring helps for additional gripping especially when the surface is wet. I'm glad I didn't hesitate to purchase because I have had opportunity for bathing and relaxation and this unit. I suggest you don't hesitate with your purchase either. Please consider when installing a unit like this, the floor and joist and footage that will have to support the added weight. I had to have all three reinforced to hold the weight of 100 gallons of water and this unit combined is about a thousand pounds put into a area of about 24 square feet that's a good amount of load for a floor to have to hold. This was a walk in Tub fully loaded. This is the first time ordering. Our difficulty was finding an installer. Everyone we contacted wanted to supply the tub and install it complete. We already had a contractor to do it that has a electrical License and almost ready with his plumbing license. it is an easy install. One plumbing company came out and quoted double the cost of the tub to hook it up. the water and drain is already there. My contractor would do the rest. They could not even do the electrical just the water and drain. Monday another person is coming and we will see what they bid. Our contractor can install it but the manufacturer requires the plumber to install. I think I could install it but I am 78 years old. ... show more

    • Difficult for handicap elderly to get in and out

With being only fitted with one handicap bar, my wife has a difficult time in getting in and out of the tub safely. There should be more bars. 2. The controls for the different functions are very sensitive and one often needs to cycle through or back up to energize the fundtion you want. 3. The Whirlpool jets are very strong and my wife can't use them because they hurt. Even with the so called stength adjustment for the jets, you cannot adjust the strength low enough. She uses the bubble function but not the whirlpool function. 4. With limited flexibility, she cannot immerse herself up to her shoulders under water. She would have to "scunch" down in order to even approach getting her body under water. It would be better with a lower seat. 5. Takes too long to fill with water. 6. It does drain quickly 7. The panels to lengthen the tub to fit the standard space of a bathtub opening, are OK but you cannot add them until after the tub is in place, and then it is absolutely impossible to access the area to put in the nuts and bolts. Very poor design. 8. The front of the tub facing the room after installation is concave, and the door must be "lifted" up to fit the opening and latch properly. Not sure if something was stored on the tub to do this, but not a quality product. If had to do it over again, I would not purchase this tub with all the features. Having the bubbling effect is nice but not the whirlpool function. The tub is not realy a good design for the whirlpool design ... show more
