  • Works
Size: All Purpose: 19dB Preamplifier with Fillters Pattern Name: Amplifier
Added to my Antennas Direct antenna. This version doesn't have the green light to show it's on, just plug it in and it should work. Easy to setup. Since plugging and unplugging provided different stations, it works.

  • I can FINALLY get all my channels (and then some)
Size: All Purpose: 19dB Preamplifier with Fillters Pattern Name: Amplifier
For years, when college football starts, I have been fighting with my antenna setup to pull in the ABC and CBS affiliates from the nearest large city. My TV could tell there were stations when it scanned, but it couldn't pull in a picture. Well, this fixed it. Added this to my long range antenna and with an amplified splitter to run to 2 TV's, the initial scan found 80 channels (and most of those are crystal clear)!!! ... show more

  • Good value
Size: 8 Way Distribution Amp Pattern Name: Amplifier
Replaced a mess of splitters and bad cable company wiring with this. Boosts the marginal antenna signals well to make it through long coax runs, every receiver in the house gets every channel now. Good buy.

  • Great reception!
Size: All Purpose: 19dB Preamplifier with Fillters Pattern Name: Amplifier
My old unit was in a lightning strike so chose this because of the reviews and speed of delivery. I’m very happy! Old nation brand found 42 channels but this one pulled in 62!

  • Added channels
Size: All Purpose: 19dB Preamplifier with Fillters Pattern Name: Amplifier
I’m pleased so far. I have 2 antennas going into this up on a mast about 13 feet off the ground. (Antennas are the exact same brand and I’m using the exact same length of coax cable) I’m 30 miles from one market and 50 miles from the other. I pointed both antennas at the market that’s 50 miles away. ( I didn’t have good results pointing the antennas at each different market) I was getting 30 to 40 channels at first, with this setup I’m getting 102 channels from both markets don’t get me wrong some are not great, but at least 85% of the 102 are at least 75 out a 100 on a signal scale. The picture on HD channels is spectacular. I have an old Channel Master (15 years) 1 output distribution amp that runs 3 tvs a Hd homerun Dvr and dish network is still hooked up ( not for long though lol) though a 3 way splitter where it comes into the house, and another 3 way splitter at the tv farthest away where the Dvr and dish hopper are. As far as the power inserter went I made a loop from the antenna into the nearest bedroom so I could plug the power inserter into an inside outlet and back out to go to the splitter. Ground all outside splitters, the mast and the Juice amp, (this is important) Everything is working great at this time, I can run everything at the same time and so far no issues. I’m very pleased. I can’t guarantee you will get the same results, I am by no way an expert at this by any means. Again it worked for me, this is at a rural setting. Good Luck ... show more

  • A digital TV preamplifier that works for a while, until it doesn't
Size: All Purpose: 19dB Preamplifier with Fillters Pattern Name: Amplifier
UPDATE: I have returned the ClearStream Juice after more than two weeks of attempts to make it work consistently. Others have complained of it failing after it operates for a while, and that's exactly what happened with me. I tried different tuners and swapped out coax cables with no effect. I could make the Juice work again by unplugging it for a while, then plugging it back in after it cooled off, but it never lasted. Channels would soon drop out again. I could actually get better reception by bypassing the Juice entirely. I then bought a Channel Master CM-7779HD preamplifier to compare to the ClearStream Juice. The interesting part is that the Juice picked up more channels when I ran a tuner scan, but failed to consistently receive them. The Channel Master picks up fewer channels, but the ones it does, it receives consistently. That is why I'm keeping it and returning the Juice. I did notice from reading the Juice instruction manual that the power adapter it describes is not the same power adapter that came with the unit. I have to wonder if Antennas Direct had reliability problems with the original adapter. Regardless, switching the adapter has not solved them (at least for me). ____________________________________ I'll begin by saying that if you bought one of those cheap rectangular indoor digital TV antennas with the built-in amplifier for $20 to $30, and you're unhappy with the reception you're getting, then the ClearStream Juice preamplifier is the solution you're looking for. Yes, the ClearStream preamplifier is more expensive, but unlike of the no-name Chinese antenna amplifiers it actually works. You get what you pay for. Disconnect the amplifier that came with your antenna and connect the antenna to the Juice instead. I have a rectangular indoor antenna mounted to a closet window on the second floor of my house, and was picking up only 20 over-the-air channels that were constantly pixelating and breaking up. After installing the Juice I now have clear, strong signals from 50 channels. The difference is amazing. I'm getting video that is every bit as solid as my Internet TV service, even when it's raining outside. For my own setup I use the antenna and ClearStream Juice preamplifier with an HDHomeRun tuner box that's connected to my WiFi network. Downloading the HDHomeRun app allows me to watch local over-the-air channels on my large screen TVs using Amazon Fire Sticks, on my computer, or on my smartphone. One antenna, one ClearStream preamplifier, and one HDHomeRun tuner is all that's needed. ... show more
