The "Mag-Safe to USB C Adapter 3-in-1" version that is being sold here only provides 30 watts to my 15" 2018 MacBook from my 27" Thunderbolt Display (which provides up to 85 watts), despite the adapter's description claiming to provide 45/60/85 watts. 30 watts isn't enough to prevent the battery from draining while using it on a laptop that normally has an 87 watt charger. I would have been fine with it providing 45 which wouldn't charge the laptop during use but would maintain the battery, or 65 watts which would charge it slowly, but only 30 is unacceptable. Even at 30 watts it gets quite warm, although not hot. I'm returning this. ... show more

I purchased this because I seen that it works with Nintendo switch. And I've had issues with other chargers working with my Nintendo switch or actively charging it without taking forever. This was super easy to use. I just plugged into the switch or the computer and then plugged the other end into a power band and it allows me to charge it on the go Anywhere. The price is amazing and it's worth buying a few to have with you. So that way you always have one on hand ... show more

I got this so I could use the same power supply with my new MacBook Air with the Mag-Safe power connector as well as my older MacBook Air with USB-C power connector. As you can see by the photo, the adapter's magnetic connector (bottom) doesn't match up with the Apple Mag-Safe connector (top). The product description clearly states it's for the newer M1/M2 Apple MacBooks. Returned. ... show more

The device functions properly and allows the laptop to charge but seems to be hotter than I expected. Higher operating temperatures tend to shorten the life of electronics. Is this usual or not?
