    • Works exactly as expected
This product is great for someone like me who has a few USB-A plug-ins for hard drives and other external media but only has USB-C ports. What I do is plug it in to my USB-A hard drive, and just leave it plugged in, that way I don't lose it and it will always work by plugging directly into my computer. This saves me from needing a larger hub adapter when I am traveling or working in a small space. An issue I thought I would encounter but didn't was the thickness of the adapter and the spacing of the ports. You can, in fact, plug in a Macbook charger while also plugging in the adaptor next to it. It may appear a little wide, but it is not too wide to cause space issues with the two ports.     • Great to have if you have USB devices and a new MacBook
Apple is famous for getting rid of things before we are ready to give them up. I have several devices that I use with my new MacBook and they are all USB. But, Apple decided to completely get rid of USB so now we are left needing things like this until we upgrade and get all new devices ... which I am going to resist. These are great because now I can use my USB hard drives. There are only two things that make them less than perfect. One is that they should be a bit deeper because the USB part sticks out a bit on the end and it causes the connector to seem like it's falling out. Both pieces just need to be a bit deeper. The other thing is that because it's USB, it's wider and therefore you can't use two of these together. If they had made them so that the Thunderbolt connecter was on the far right or left instead of in the middle, you might be able to use two of them in neighboring ports. But as is, you end up losing a port with these. It's not a huge deal as I have a USB port hub for the other side of my laptop, but this is really something they should have discovered during the engineering phase and made it so you could use two side by side. I still recommend them as they are handy to have when you just quickly need to use a USB device. Now, let's see how long it takes before Apple gets rid of the Thunderbolt plugs and we have to switch to yet something else. ... show more

These little babies are awesome to have around. They work perfectly and are very sturdy. I keep them in a little matchbox because they're very easy to lose due to their tiny size. They always work, so I'm very happy with them. I've bought two sets, no complaints so far.
