The package arrived with a picture on it so I had to hide it before Christmas, so if it’s a present just fyi, picture is on the box! The car was pretty simple to put together, the instructions weren’t the best but a quick YouTube tutorial was easy to find, took about 30 minutes with two people. The car is sturdy and well built, multiple adults have ridden it with no issues, not as powerful with a grown adult but still goes! The car has two speeds, it’s pretty fast for my seven year old, took her awhile to be comfortable in the higher speed. Does well in rocky and hill terrain, not just for pavement. The battery lasts a long time, we forget to charge it and it’s still going. Easy steering and forward and reverse options. The remote control option is great for smaller kids, works well and is super simple. Worth the money, it’s lasting with no problems and continues to be the top pick toy ! ... show more

I couldn't have been happier after I got it built - and it worked! All necessary tools included, other than a screwdriver. Quite a few extra bits of hardware, which is nice (although it had me thinking I may have left some screws off - but I hadn't!) Instructions were reasonably easy to follow, EXCEPT for pairing the remote - the directions in the remote box were different from those on the main assembly booklet - follow the ones that are with the remote! All in all, an excellent choice for a ride-on, and a great value for the price! I can highly recommend this! One word of caution - the turning radius is quite wide - probably a good idea to prevent a rollover - but you'll need a good bit of space to enjoy it! Definitely NOT for indoor use! ... show more

Pros: Metal frame, plenty of power, appears to be well built, plenty of room to grow as the seat is adjustable. Cons: 2wd is kind of useless as the front motors do not disengage so the rear motors are pushing and the front are essentially being resistant and not spinning. The remote is a great option, however, when not utilizing the remote for steering, the child has to turn the servo motor attached to the steering link, making it difficult for them to turn quickly or at all. The suspension is nice but very stiff. It could likely be switched out for something softer. Conclusion: this is a pretty decent toy for the price and will easily handle a kid for multiple years before they out grow it. ... show more

I purchased this for my 13 year old special needs son. It was a bit difficult to put together but after it was assembled we charged and he has not STOPPED riding it yet. We have had to put another screw in the steering column because the bolt came out but other than that, He is still riding it, even in the snow, grass, gravel and sidewalk it goes. My son is 129 pounds and has had it since July 2023. We cover it every night and plug it in to charge. I would advise to purchase and if anything falls apart any mechanic will fix it for little or nothing. ... show more

It is a good purchase for 5 years old it is ok for 3-4 years old - seat is way back for 3-4 years old even if you move forward they can not seat properly , they are holding on the steering wheel all the time seat is not providing any stabilization - steering wheel far away from seat for younger age and if you move closer then gas pedal is in awkward position that they have to push it with their toe - gear shifter is complicated for 3-4 years old I tried to teach my son he accidentally pushing speed button going so fast (unsafe) gear shifter should be very simple for younger kids Turning radius pretty large (nothing bad but you need to know) I’m sure will be better fit for my son next year And Remote control works great ... show more

I was worried that it wouldn't go fast enough to thrill the kids who go to my youth group. On the contrary, they lost their minds. They couldn't get enough. 17-year-olds (who were a little over weight) had no problem riding them. Rode straight for an hour and a half with no battery problems. We rode at night and the headlights really work. Quality - the quality is exceptional. I purchased several types of go-carts and these were by far the best quality. Very strong.
