The coat is a good length; I can't quite touch the hem with my fingertips. It's about half-way to the knee. The waist hits in the correct place with strings to tighten it if needed. The sleeves are a good length. They partially cover my hands, and the length does not move when I move my arms. The coat has elastic at the ends of the sleeves. They aren't too tight or loose and will keep the cold air from going up the sleeves and would fit well over mittens or gloves. The inside is lined with a soft, furry material. The sleeves are not, but they are well insulated without being restrictive. There is enough room to move around and it's not too tight anywhere. There is enough room for a sweater or hoodie without it feeling too tight. There is a deep, inside pocket and two large and closeable/snappable pockets on the outside. The inside pocket is large enough to hold a cell phone without it sticking out of the top. There's also enough room for other items too. The fur around the hood can be removed and is buttoned on. The only thing that I wish it had was draw strings to tighten the hood around my face but there is enough room for a cap and scarf. That's the reason for 4 out of 5 stars. Expecting poor quality - Not the case. Navy Blue - has a great neckline that is higher up and keeps you toasty warm. Plenty of pockets and definitely youthful. I unsnapped the removable fur trim, it is a bit too much drama for a conservative taste. There is plenty of room for a sweater underneath. I am 5'6' and it hits mid thigh. I'd been searching for the right coat that wasn't too thick nor too thin and this was it. I like the color and especially the black faux fur of the hood and inside of the coat. The zipper goes up/down with no problem. I also like that the buttons are silver, so it gives the coat style. I am 5'2 212lb and I ordered an XL. The coat comes just below my butt. However; it fits a lil snug ONLY on the butt area. IF I'd ordered an 2XL it'd be too big all over so, I'm okay with the XL also b/c im on a weight loss journey. I love absolutely everything about this coat, I'm not really sure how warm it will be in the dead of winter, as I purchased this coat in March. ( my winter coat was destroyed in an apartment washer!) I purposely bought a medium so that i could wear a bulky sweater or sweatshirt if needed Lots of pockets.
