I’ve been using this product for about a month now and I gotta say it’s made my experience so much better. As much as I like how light the stock headstrap is, it would always pull at my hair when I’d tighten it and it would feel very uncomfortable after a little bit of time. That’s when I got this headstrap and it really increased my quality of operation. Installation was fairly simple. The dial for tightening with the cushion on the back completely eliminated my discomfort with my hair and sat much more firmly on my head. The top visor-style point of contact makes it easier to adjust how it sits on my face. The battery does add a little bit of weight but it extends the use time quite a bit and helps counterbalance the weight of the headset. It’s easy to attach and remove and holds to the strap with some strong magnets so I’ve never had to deal with it slipping off even with some faster head movements. Overall I’d definitely recommend it and will continue to use it as my default headstrap. ... show more

The A3 Max is 100% an improvement over what Meta provides by default, at a lower price point than competitors. I think this head strap is a must-buy for any Meta Quest owner. It greatly improves comfort and increases the amount of time you are able to play not connected to a wall. **Pros** - The head strap helps to balance the weight of the headset, reducing neck pain when playing over long periods. - The halo-style head strap helps take a lot of pressure off the face, offering greater comfort over extended use. The padding is very soft and comfortable. - The additional battery greatly extends the playtime and is a quality of life improvement compared to the built-in headset battery. After playing for 3 hours, the battery had a quarter charge left, and the headset battery itself was still full. - Installation of the strap was very easy. The instructions included in the packaging were very clear. - The adjustment wheel for adjusting the head strap is much more convenient compared to the default strap. **Area for improvement** The only thing that would make this even better would be if the battery could be made thinner and the location can be moved higher for more comfort when laying down. ... show more

Like another user commented, the product I received would not charge the Meta Quest 3 with enough power and I kept getting notifications with dinging noises that the headset was't charging fast enough. Even though the Quest 3 said it was charging, I was losing battery life as if it wasn't charging at all. When I stopped using the headset and let the Annapro battery charge the Quest 3 while it was in sleep mode, it was incredibly slow to charge and basically useless. The head strap itself is well designed and comfortable to wear, but Annapro clearly has some quality control issues that it needs to deal with. Also, its customer support is non existent. I called and emailed and got no response. I would advise against buying this product until Annapro fixes the quality control issues. ... show more

I was getting a bit annoyed by the low battery of my other quest 3 headstrap and i was looking at getting an extra battery to swap originally, but it wasnt available. So i looked into this one which had 2x the amount of battery. I used it yesterday and it was easy to install to my headset, and made the headset feel alot lighter and more comfortable (thanks to the increase of adjustments you can make on this one). I played for about 2.5 hours and by the time i got “bored”, i noticed i still had 100% battery on the quest itself. Just had to buy another headset because the battery on this model is garbage. This headstrap is comfortable but a rip off for the price, considering there is essentially no battery feature

This did not work with the pass through dongle that comes with the PrismXr Vega earbuds. Other than that,it did it's job. I iked it but had to return for that reason.

This headset worked with my quest 3. The previous one that I had was very loose so when I used it, it would slip off my head. After using this one, the front and back of the headset had a soft rest area that snuggled with my head and felt secure. It’s also adjustable. The headset doesn’t press hard on my face which I like. This security of this headrest allows me to immerse myself into the game fully. This headset also includes a removable battery pack that attached into the headset. Allow your headset to fully charge before using it because it will use the battery pack first and then the headset’s battery when the other one is done.
