Received this in the mail and wasn't expecting it to be as small as it was. The one side is sharp and does cut dough pretty easily and will see how that holds up over time. The cutter itself is not very sturdy since the two sides are just a long strip of metal so I was able to actually take it and it would flex in my hand. If it had a metal strip across the back to hold the 2 long sides out it would hold the shape a lot better. The product does say made in the USA so that's a huge plus since I have a hard time finding items like that. Overall it's a good cutter and will work for what I need it to. ... show more

Made in America what more could you ask for im a perfect 'Americana style' cookie cutter! It is charming; perfect shape, strong enough to cut through rolled out frozen sugar cookie dough, cleanly and without warping or bending like another reviewer claimed. I love this cutter you will not regret the purchase, it's constructed soundly. I was concerned based on the only other review being 1 star, but figured there's always a naysayer! So I gave it a shot hoping I would be able to provide a more balanced review for this product... And obviously I am pleased. If you have trouble keeping your cookies in the shape they were originally cut out in, then you may want to cool your dough, by putting the cut cookies back into the freezer for 5 min, before putting the sheet in the oven. They will stay more true to the cookie cutter shape by not spreading out as they bake. ... show more
