It worked great size wise for our Trek motorhome shower, because it comes with additional size rubber rings. The original one broke, and with it being quite small, it worked out well. Easy to install. I ordered another for the house tub. It fits and works well for the times one may want a bath. It plugs up with hair almost immediately and prevents soapy water from draining to the point you are standing in it while showering, and taking it out on your feet when done....so I take it out and use the screen drain cover we've used for years for showering and this just for baths. You will have to clean this every day or 2 of "any" hair, which is a good thing, because it prevents the hair from going down your drain, which is generally not required with a drain plug that's included with a faucet set. So the pros and cons may vary for the buyer. Some don't have time with their busy schedules to address a draining issue, but it certainly forces one to clean the hair out of their plug. ... show more

This drain is great, but the hair catcher is overbuilt. With that many points to catch hair with their thickness, people with long hair will have to clean the hair out after every shower they take otherwise, the drain is no longer effective.

This is the best drain plug I've ever seen. I have severe mold allergy, so I need something extremely easy to clean that keeps away all mold, and this is the answer. It's *so* easy to install ... took literally about 3 seconds. The tub has an X-shaped catcher about an inch or so in, so I was concerned it may not fit, but no problem at all. Unlike most other plugs, it catches hair or other debris *before* it goes down the drain, thus avoiding mold build-up. It's very, very easy to pull out and quickly clean, so I can do it frequently and easily. It's very well constructed - high quality and clever design - and it holds in water perfectly when pushed down. I absolutely love it. We've been using these for months now, in sinks and tubs, and we think they are the best! ... show more

First, the good stuff: it fits our drain, it was a quick install, and it works as advertised. The main issue we’ve encountered is how easily it grows mold under the rings. It’s expected based on how the stopper sits on top of water. May consider alternatives in the near future.

Have very old tubs and stopper broke and was removed many years ago. Complicated to get new one. Finally found these popups. This one seems sturdy and looks great. Tested it as it came and water was draining when closed so measured drain. 1 3/4". Easily replaced the small o ring with the middle sized one that came with the product and voila!
