This little Karaoke machine is actually pretty cool and the kids love it! It is very small which is convenient for storage and the kids can pick it up no problem with how lightweight it is. That being said this little speaker packs a punch and can be quite loud, even too loud if they adjust it all the way up. It actually is a little too loud on the lowest setting to be used inside comfortably. They still do and I just go out to the sun room and close the door and let them have their fun. When you turn it on, it will say something like "Bluetooth mode activated" which is mainly what will be used. It syncs with the microphones as soon as you turn them on, there's no pairing to worry about. It'll work with one or both the included mics. The range on them is actually impressive, with 15-20 feet easily and sometimes up to 25ft. I know this because my kids put on a show in the backyard and were running all over the place with no issues. The lighting is simple but nice. You can cycle through a few different patterns by hitting the lightbulb button up top. There are two modes, Bluetooth mode and FM mode. Bluetooth is what you'll want to use as the FM seems to just add static to the noise and is very annoying. Once in Bluetooth mode, there will be a reverberate mode that is like a big echo which is cool but gets annoying quickly. To turn that off, hold the minus volume button for a few seconds and it will deactivate. If you want to add music, just fill a micro SD card with some songs. It starts with the first one on the card and you can cycle through them with the plus and minus volume buttons. Simple and it works. Overall I like this and so do the kids, just wish it would go lower because it gets annoying for us parents pretty quickly at the low setting. ... show more

First I'll say, pretty much any kid will have a blast with this, especially the voice effects. That's the good. Now the bad. The sound quality is not great, but kids definitely won't notice that as much as adults. But for the price, I feel like they could have done better. There are a lot of options with this little device, but the figuring out how to use them is challenging...it's almost like a system of morse code, with so many different buttons doing so many different things, depending on whether you short press or long press. All in all, this would make a fun gift for most kids, but at the current price of about $38, it's overpriced. ... show more

It's a pretty nice machine, very small but the sound quality is pretty good. Comes with two microphones and a charging cable, but any USB-C cable should charge it just fine. My biggest complaint is that the microphones default to having reverb on when you power it on. It might be good in some cases, but generally it's probably best to not use that feature for best sound quality. Took a minute to figure out how to turn it off, and you just press and hold the volume down key until it let's you know that the feature is off. Definitely more of a toy for kids and younger teens, but it could also be used at small parties in a pinch. ... show more

This is a small, but powerful little karaoke machine that is fun for really any age. It can travel anywhere because of it's compact size and definitely helps to keep kids amused for a good chunk of time. If we walk too close to the machine with the microphone in hand, there is definitely some loud and annoying feedback. Also, before reading the instructions, we just instinctively went to push what looked to be the volume control button on the machine, but instead it changed the song...no big deal, but something worth mentioning because we kept doing it until we finally had to read the instruction manual about how to adjust the volume! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This Karaoke Machine is loads of fun for the kids. I won't lie; it is just as fun for adults. It's easy to use and has four different voice effects to make things even more silly and fun. The microphone has control buttons that change the volume and the "magic" voices. You only have to hold the power button to turn the mic on, and the speaker will notify you that it's on. It works the same to change the voices; simply hold the button for a second until the speaker says the "magic voice" has been changed. Anytime you want to change the voice, hold the button. The only thing that sucks about that is that every time you switch the voice setting, it will announce it, so I don't think it can be changed while in the middle of the song. Not only do the voice sounds change, but the light settings can also be switched using a light button on the speaker. Simply push the button to cycle between the colors and patterns until you find the vibe you're going for. The lights can also be switched off. It connects easily and quickly to my phone's Bluetooth. I like that it can connect to a phone or iPad and can connect to various music apps. The machine will work with a TF card and a U-disk as well. The volume is actually relatively decent for being such a compact device; I was surprised by that. It might not be as loud as larger karaoke machines, but I think I'm okay with that. The volume on the microphones is adjustable, which is great because one of the kids here sings a bit louder than the rest. The colorful lights are a nice touch. It seems to hold a decent charge; you can get hours of karaoke in. It's excellent for the kids, and they love it! I might have to borrow it from them this Halloween. The only downside I see with this karaoke machine is that it. only comes with one charging cord, but the karaoke machine and microphones all require a charge. Given all of the pros of this machine, I'd say it is worth the investment. It really would make an excellent gift for kids starting at about four years old and up. Was pleasantly surprised by this little thing. It actually doesn’t sound too awful. Has a little woofer on the backside for the low end. Some distortion when at full volume but its serviceable for anyone that’s not an audiophile. Great for a small space that doesn’t require big sound.
