I ordered this to help make an old porcelain sink look better. I got the matte finish and it works great -- like white out for people who are old enough to remember that product. I takes a couple of days to completely harden but is sturdy in the mean time but the plus is that if you make a mess you can just scrape it away. I do wish there was an antique white, or off white color, to match the old sink better. The stark white color does stand out, if you get close enough. Hopefully it will blend in eventually. It’s very white. Works great for small spots but if your tub has a large spot, more than 1 “ wide, the white will be very noticeable. Try adding black in very small amounts to tint the white only if your tub is discolored. Adheres well to a tub finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Paint was easy to apply to a scrape inside of the toilet, but there is not much of it. The paint only lasted about 2 months, and now I have to buy more.

    • We've tried to use this THREE times - each time it ended up chipping off in a short time

The first time we used this, I was thrilled! It went on like Liquid Paper and, after letting it dry four days, we thought we were good to go. But, alas, the painted area started chipping off after awhile. (And we didn't use harsh abrasive cleaners on it, as the directions say.) So we thought maybe we should give it a fair shot and try again. Applied a second coat, waited four days - and after awhile it chipped off. The third time we thought, well maybe our sink wasn't dry enough or clean enough before application. So we bleached the whole sink. Dried it. Let the sink sit and dry out for FOUR DAYS. Applied the stuff again. And now it's chipping off. Again. I give up. We're going to our local hardware store and see what they recommend. This product doesn't last. ... show more
