I purchased these boots to use for every day wear during winter in Maine. I need boots that are both water resistant and warm, and these hit both marks. I was a bit skeptical of the heel at first but these are actually extremely comfortable boots and you don't really notice the heel when walking. These are fake fur lined and keep my feet quite warm. They were a tiny bit too big for me but I don't mind, as I can double up on socks to make up the difference. The laces are a bit odd, especially at the top of the boots the two top rings for laces seem somewhat useless, no matter how tight I try to pull the laces, the top of the boot never really tightens up. It leaves a bit of a gap around my ankle that allows snow to get in over the top of the boot. This is my only complaint about these! I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a decent but not super heavy boot for the winter. ... show more

Found these on Amazon right away. The good reviews made it easy to purchase. These were GREAT! If you know anything about MN, especially in Feb., then you know...These boots were all I wore. They were exactly what I wanted, stylish, comfortable and again, if you know MN, then you know there was PLENTY of snow, ice and slush. Got these for an upcoming hiking adventure in Oregon and they are so cute, comfortable, and good quality for the price. Got these two days ago and have been wearing them to break them in…so far, they are so comfortable. I usually wear a size 7, but sized half a size down after the reviews and so glad I did. Even with wool hiking socks these shoes fit perfect. I don’t expect these to last a lifetime, but they will definitely hold up for this trip. Not sure if they are waterproof, but will be putting a protective coat on them just to be safe. If you need good boots for a reasonable price, these are them! ... show more

Alright I've ordered a lot of clothes and shoes off Amazon and I can say this is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review; I love these freaking boots. I had them in my cart for a while and by the time I got around to buying them they had jumped up in price $20, and they were worth every extra dollar. They're cute as hell and I get tons of compliments. Not only are they cute but they're good quality and they get the job done. I haven't gone hiking in them yet or waded through a river, but I've worn these boots through down pouring rain and two feet of snow and my feet always stay dry, not to mention they're ridiculously comfortable. I've had these for a couple months now and they still look new. In regards to the sizing question, I got my normal shoe size and they fit perfect. These boots are fantastic! I wore them to an overseas trip to ireland. We hiked everywhere!! They were comfortable and looked great with my outfits. These were the only shoes I brought. I did upgrade the soles and put a nicer insert in them for added comfort. They were warm too! Definitely a keeper. I'm actually wearing them now!! I'm teaching K4! They look super cute and keep my cold feet warm at all times. They are very sturdy and can stand a Wisconsin winter so far. The material looks like a soft movable textile on the outside but it's actually just a weird print on cheaper material. Not complaining though because they still look cute. The only downside is a massive workout to get them on and off. The size fits great once their on. The back is weirdly engineered and not study, so it is a fight to get them on, a shoe horn might help. Still recommend though because they're cute and warm. ... show more

These are great! Better than I expected. Fit perfectly with a half of a size bigger. They ran a little small I was told from other reviews. Glad I listened! I had bought a different brand of boot from Amazon, but when I received them I noticed the sole being glued on not stitched, so I returned those & bought this pair. This pair of boots is actually very comfortable to walk on. It looks like the sole is stitched on... I hope so. So far so good.
