The Aniioki AQ177 is a great e-bike. I’m happy that I finally have an e-bike that puts an end to range anxiety. If you leave home on this, you’ll get back home on it. If you barely pedal at all, just help it up steep hills, you’ll get at least 90 miles. I’m 230 lbs, and I got 92 miles on my first range test, 100 on my second test. That is freaking amazing! I am finding that I ride it a lot more miles than I did with my old e-scooter, which only has a 25 mile max range. I didn’t even go 10 miles from home with it, due to fears that I might not get home. One other nice thing about this bike, and this is surprising- it is pretty easy to pedal even when shut off. Seriously, even if you run out of battery, you can pedal it a few miles home. I was surprised it wasn’t hard to pedal when totally off. Positives and Negatives about Aniioki AQ177 Bike Positives •Incredible Range- after 40 miles of riding (fast), the battery indicator finally loses one bar, 4 of 5 bars remaining. By comparison, my e-scooter drops a bar after 5 miles. •Decent ride- the seat is comfortable •It is VERY sturdy •The paint finish is amazing, it is the hardest paint I've ever seen, and the steel frame is painted on all surfaces, inside and out. •The kickstand works great, it is sturdy, and doesn’t ever block the pedals •its 1000W (possibly 750W) motor has quite a bit of power, yet sips very slowly on the battery power. •It is easy to pedal this bike when totally shut-off- really •Killer looks- I like the good looks, but I wish it didn’t look so motorcycle-like. Looks better in person than the pictures •Adjustable height comfortable bicycle seat. Lots of e-bikes these days have only long flat motorcycle seats, that are so low you almost can’t pedal at all. They also look more motorcycle-like •The 7 gear Shimano derailleur worked perfectly on the first shot, no adjustment necessary! •Dual mode always on, use the throttle or pedals, any time, to call up lots of power. •It has fenders/mud guards, but the way it is designed, it might not even need them. •The customer support people at Aniioki are friendly, helpful, patient, and kind. They are a good company to work with, they are providing fixes for some of my problems. Negatives (some of these are nitpicky- but still true) •Excessive pedal assist power. When you peddle, in any mode (1-5) the bike leaps to the top speed in that gear. So you have to use lower gears, 1, 2, or 3, when you peddle, 2 is best. In gear 3 you have to peddle crazy fast or you are ‘ghost pedaling’. In gear 4 or 5 there is no point in peddling, because you can’t add any power, it is going too fast for peddling. I wish the peddles could be used all the way up to 28 miles per hour, but at about 20 miles per hour you are already going too fast for peddling to make any sense. I wish the gear ratio allowed for real pedaling at speeds up to 28 mph! •The rear shocks are “pretend hydraulic” or fake coil and air. There are these very large and noticeable red fake air reservoirs attached to the spring shocks. They are not real, they are dummies. Is this bike for kids? Who want to pretend that they have top quality shocks if they don't? I’d sooner actually have coil and air, or not see a rig designed to trick people. It’s sad and very strange. •The display is SO DIM. I can’t see it in daylight, that is just pathetic. people need to know how fast they are going, even when i daylight. •Stupid placement of the headlight, one screw mount, on the lower part of the front shocks, makes it wobble like crazy. It is too big and too heavy for the mount. It should be mounted firmly to the handle bars, and it should be smaller. •Blinker lights are only in the rear, and are too dim to be seen at all in daylight. •Blinker lights are SO dim, they are hard to even notice at night •Blinkers make no sound, so you won’t remember to turn them off, and they do not turn themselves off. *Blinker switch doesn’t have a mark at center, so you have to look carefully to turn it off •Taillight is dim and pink- not red… really dim. •Security system for turning it on is a little annoying, but really secure. But I suspect that one could steal the battery easily, with just a screwdriver jammed into the battery-lock keyhole. •The tires sent are knobby off-road tires, but this is more of a road bike. The tires don’t have much rubber, and •the Knobbies make a loud buzzing sound on the road. A really good upgrade would be motorcycle style tires. •there are no pegs for someone riding on the back to put their feet on •cover on the charger port doesn’t stay closed- poor fit. •the little black controller with the menu on it, has a top that is not sealed, leaving a 16th inch opening on the front and one side. This doesn’t seem waterproof, it concerns me. •some of the welds are not great, see pictures. •the battery was damaged a bit in the shipping. Strange that they shipped it inside of the bike, instead of wrapping it in some nice foam padding. •There is no USB 3 port, no USB C port. This huge battery and there is no place to charge even one device. •The rear fender can get lodged up under the back seat, see the image (close-up top of back wheel). This freaked me out, but the plastic fender is flexible and didn’t seem damaged afterward. The problem is that with the shocks, the rear wheel and fender can bounce up high enough to push the fender in there, and the space above it is just wide enough to fit it, but not wide enough to allow it to go back down. I found an easy solution. There is some 2 inch thick, very tough foam in the package with this bike. Take some of it, and cut a piece that fits perfectly up under the rear seat. It is easy to do, and the foam won’r allow the fender to ever go up in there again. But the real problem here is that the rear shocks are weak, they have too much travel in them and there is no way to even adjust them. ... show more

Had this e-bike since may 2023,,I've put over 500 miles on it because it's so much fun...I've rode it so much i wore the tires & brakes out & some other little things but the customer service has been awesome. I just sent photos of worn parts and they had had replacement parts at my front door within 7 to 10 days usually. The best part of this e-bike is the battery..It will go 100 miles on on throttle only even in the hilly area i live & ride in.. They have always responded to my emails promptly and have solved every issue i've had and have sent replacement parts promptly so i say great ebike but could use better tires & tubes but still 5 star because of such great customer service. This is my first E-Bike and i'm addicted so it probably won't be my last..I'm an amuture but i did post some Demo-Ride videos on my Youtube @ honest randy's reviews & rockin blues. ... show more

love the bike AQ177 pro but had a motor sensor issue. problem was solved replacement part on the way. still happy with my purchase. update;11/22/23 new motor installed and seems to be working fine. changed a few things on the bike that needed to be dialed in, other than that very pleased with the bike and customer service. will give another update if any other issues occur ... show more

First of all, I would like to add to or say a couple things about what Mr Pixel has to say in his generous review above. The LCD display is dim, but can be adjusted, the instructions on how to do so are, well, in the instructions. For a bike of this price, it's very difficult to find one with any blinkers at all and mine has a horn. I'm not sure if different people are getting slightly different setups due to availability of parts, etc, but mine is, if I remember correctly, on the left, right near the blinker control or on the right side in the same area. Also, there is a gap in the controller all around the + and - controls, but they are waterproof. I know this because I took mine apart after anoki sent me a replacement when my + button fell off. Even after falling off, underneath is completely sealed - the button is a snap- on. Great review though. I absolutely love this bike. After owning several decent up-and-comers, I was tired of running out of batteries 45 minutes from home regardless of when I used pedal assist! Not anymore. I don't even pedal nowadays unless I elect to or wanna check the mail and realize I left the fob upstairs. It's zippy from standing and it's zippy up top - I have to remind myself this thing's like 130 lbs and built like a tank, but a tank with nimble, powerful and responsive attributes. Both front and rear shocks are adjustable, locking and make for a quite comfortable ride. I've taken it for a 65-mike ride and used only 2 of 5 bars! 😳 My rear wheel or possibly rear motor started making weird noises yesterday so tomorrow I'll find out what's up with their customer service and I will update when pertinent. ... show more

The 2nd day I rode about 57 miles and on the way home I got a hole in my tire. The tires are very cheap and slippery and easy to be punctured. I’d advise to get better tires and tubes. But overall this bike goes 30mph with me on it and I think it will go the promised 100+ miles no problems REAL REVIEW….. I have nothing but good things to say about this e-bike. I am so happy with range the build quality and the power of course I have reached out to customer support a few times! And they got back to me within a day and went above and beyond to help me with my questions and even sent me a updated display. For no change. I highly recommend the Aniioki AQ 177 pro max. .John . S. Update. I had nothing but good things to say about those company But now it seems that after 30 days or more of owning it. They no longer answer any emails or questions you have So it seems to me after the 30 day return window has closed. They no longer communicate with you. At least that's what I'm getting here. No problems with the bike but have more questions, especially about the supposed UL certified battery. I asked for proof of that because there's no proof of you all certification on the battery itself. Only them stating that they are UL certified. Hopefully I hear back from them. ... show more
