Not quite the precise engineering typically found in ANDIS products But It does the job.. it doesn’t do it perfect.. it doesn’t do it wrong. It just gets the job done. ifff you’re using this on the road for quik touch ups, kudos.. but if you’re looking for a great trimmer for the home front, then do yourself a favor & invest in some nice hair equipment that will save you thousands Vs going to the barber shop weekly ... show more

For consideration, I'm a black man with a coarse hair type. I needed these for travel and they held up pretty well. The main downside was that they just didn't cut as closely as I would have liked so I had to shave more often. I actually used these to shave my whole (bald) head. They got me through, so I can recommend them. I didn't need them to do much actual lining up. Just enough to maintain a large goatee and a thick mustache. And I didn't check, but my battery may have been fizzling out because the clippers didn't seem as strong as when I first used them. But good overall. ... show more
