I found this product at a discount store and purchased it on a whim, never having heard of the company before. The ingredients seemed top notch and I had been wanting to try fruit stem cells for a while. My first impression was that it smelled wonderful, like an expensive jar of berry preserves. After using it my skin was baby soft and had a nice glow. Of course I was unable to find it at said discount store again so I decided to look for it on Amazon. I found it and was more than happy to pay double what I originally purchased it for. I'm a huge fan of Andalou now and have been trying some of their other products. So far I like them all, but this mask is still my favorite! I have sensitive skin and the mask does burn a little (more like a tingle, nothing bad) but I expect that from a product with fruit enzymes meant to exfoliate surface cells. No burn at all would mean the product wasnt doing its job. I'm very satisfied and will be reordering! ... show more

I gave this a try during my weekly at-home facial. I believe it works best when doing a facial as it does soften dead skin (You will have to do extractions or some form of gentle exfoliation after). I steamed my face for about 8 mins while wearing this mask, making sure no product got into my eyes. After rinsing, I applied a little aloe vera gel and used a skin spatula and wayyy more dead skin and gunk came out than usual. I was thoroughly grossed out and deeply satisfied at the same time lol Keep reading if you would like to know my weekly facial routine.. Cleanse twice (1st time on dry skin, rinse, and repeat) Exfoliate (GENTLY for 1-2 mins) Steam (5 mins) Clay mask (Up to 10 mins, don't let it dry) *Andalou Mask* (Steam for 8 mins and rinse) Extractions (GENTLY, do not force! Aloe Vera helps a skin spatula glide across your face) Rinse/Toner Aloe Vera Gel Mask (Leave on for at least 15 mins to calm the skin, can be left on longer while bathing) Moisturizer Products I use: Neutrogena Hydro Boost with Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Cleansing Gel .. I saw it in a local health store and found it much cheaper on Amazon. The smell was okay and it did leave my face feeling clean.
