The bed frame is sturdy, has a great appearance with the end caps not allowing for anything large to get under the bed, doesn’t rock or creak, took about two hours to assemble, and the outlet on top of the very handy shelf is pretty useful. I took a star away because the drawers are just wire-metal with snap on wheels and some crappy fabric with no guides. They roll freely and chaotically and are generally best left unused and untouched. The end caps for them do look nice at least… if you can get the drawers to stay in place that is. As far as size goes, the frame fits my king size mattress perfectly. No box spring needed. Overall rating is 7.5/10. Pretty solid value for the money. The instructions were easy to follow and all of the parts were clearly labeled to make following the instructions painless. Everything you need for assembly comes in the box. ... show more

7/26/23 UPDATE: Well I finally got a mattress for this bed. A standard Queen mattress is NOT the size. The frame is bigger all the way around with a gap, small one but still a gap, and it doesn't reach the sides so getting in and out you feel the edge of the frame. This was disappointing to me. I love the bed. It does take a little time to assemble and the instructions are just pictures, but it was easy enough to figure out, It is all metal and very sturdy for my grandkids to sleep on. ... show more

The bed arrived with a few dents and some paint scraped off. The packaging looked fine, but I noticed 4 squished parts of the Styrofoam that match up with the dents on the headboard. Luckily the mattress covers the dents so it's not a big deal. The bed is pretty sturdy, it's pretty much 95% metal parts. It was pretty easy to put together but the instructions were a little hard to understand at times. If you have nightstands that are close to the bed then you will not be able to use the drawers that are at the head of the bed. The frame it’s nice with the outlet on top of the bed frame. Cons: you will need an extra thick and high mattress to fill up the board so or else the pillow keep falling through it. I have to get extra box spring but now it make the bed too high.
