Have a rather heavy memory foam sitting on this - was considering buying vertical slats, but no issues with comfort so far. It is stylish, study, and lightweight for what it is. Now onto the somewhat negatives: It came scratched a little on the headboard, and the instructions were a bit of a hassle in areas in terms of clarity. Also, one of the headboard outlets' screw insert was crooked, which caused the screw to go in at a bad angle after much grinding. I don't like how the backside is visible between the headboard and mattress - but not too bothersome. Note to the manufacturer - please improve the screw inserts, instruction clarity, and features to prevent the backside from being visible and the mattress from sliding side to side. Will possibly update this review after some time passes. ... show more
