I bought the Ancheer Folding 16" commuter ebike. I am already seeing improvements in my balance and stamina, I have never ridden such a small wheel bike before and takes some getting used to. I am 5'6" senior, and would have been happier with a 20" wheel. I learned to put my behind further back on seat to better ride bike, this folder is heavy around 47lbs, without the motor I would say the unit could possibly be 27lbs, the battery is about 7-10lb, and can be removed for easier lifting. Bike is powerful and does not struggle with hills or my 130lb, it folds up easily once you do it a few times, the handle bars are not adjustable and do not fold without using two different allen wrenches that are included, I see that it is possible to purchase a true folding handle bar from other company. Comes with reflectors front, back and on both wheels, bell and a head light, batteries not included, a full tool kit for small amount of assembly and adjustments is included, I also used my own pliers and drill for screws. Brakes had to be adjusted as they did drag, but that was easy and I found instructions at "ancheer sport" on youtube, brakes work extremely well, also instructions at "ancheer sport" to straighten up a bent fender as mine was bent during shipping, and the strong fender and brace protected the engine and disc brakes but was bent, sellers are very attentive and are compensating for the ding that was too difficult for me to fix. I feel that these are things that a bike dealer would have to do before putting the bike out to sell as the bike was packaged extremely well. For safety sake it is smart to tighten all bolts for all new bikes and check every so often, check and adjust brakes, check tire pressure, Tires were at about 20lbs pressure on arrival, so more air was needed, chain was properly greased. Handle bar grips are secure but because of arthritic hands I must use padded gloves, for the younger person they should be fine. I read complaints about the seat, but I found it well padded, of good quality, adjustable and folds up easily to remove battery, at arrival, the seat tube/pipe did need a bit of adjustment to put the seat in, seat has quick release to adjust seat or to remove it for folding, folding parts have safety features. The battery is easily removed and replaced, locking it is not super secure, so I would not leave it in bike for long periods of time in public. All in all I'm learning about my ebike on every ride, I find the throttle is good to use to reduce any "jerking" and each time I ride I find new ways to make my trip comfortable and safe. For a "low end" bike this company has stepped up to high end safety and decent powered ebike, the only thing many of the more expensive bikes have on this one is they are usually lighter. I am grateful for the price and quality of this little ebike. If I have any problems with it in the future I will be back with an update. ... show more

First 8 miles and didn’t even power it on. Great build and gearing just as a pedal bike. Will update on the experience once powered on. Update: load test. I’m 230lbs and had a 25lb load out (backpack). She pulled just fine up and down California hills. I did help pedal on the steep hills but no biggie and no drastic battery drop. ... show more

Overall this bike was a good deal for the price, however the reason I didnt give a full 5 stars was an incident causing me to have to return it. So bike left me at a stand still having to walk the bike a mile and 1/2 home all while having to hole the back tire off the ground in order to move it. Apparently the rear tire has a small metal tensioner, which somehow ended up lodged between the tire axel and the frame causing the tire to be unable to move. Aside from that, everything else was above my expectations. The battery life was good. I actually never had the battery give out on me throughout the month I had it, and rode it pretty often. Brakes are pretty solid. The air filled tired add some smoothness to the ride, but still no question that air filled tired dont at all compensate for having actual suspension. The seat has springs in it but not enough to really tell the difference. The speed was as described had no problem getting to stores in the area and back in no time. After contacting them reguarding my problem, they were great getting back to me and assisting me until my issue was resolved. So definitely A+ as far as customer service goes. ... show more

This bike was quite a value given its price. I found it a lot more stable than the 16 inch wheels would suggest (but more "jittery" than a bigger bike). Range for me was about 30 miles, but hill climbing is a bit challenging when the battery was low. Contrary to some reviews this bike is a lot lighter than most electric bikes, which was one reason I bought it (so I could travel with it). It appears to be under 40 pounds with the battery removed. My Stromer bike is heavy and strains my bike rack if I have to carry another bike. The peddle assist has to be "on" to use the throttle, but I don't find the number 2 and 3 settings to be very useful since there is only one gear on this bike. I'm more used to "feathering" the throttle to get more or less peddle assist. As typical with these types of bikes, the documentation is worthless. Did fine without it. One more thing. This bike comes with tools that actually fit the bike. ... show more
