We've discussed getting an adjustable bed for years. But the $5000 - $6000 prices for split king were off putting. This set by Blissful is affordable and great quality. The foam mattresses are medium firm and bend easily. We especially like the extra 30 degree tilt just at the head. We struggled a bit to unpack and haul into our mainfloor bedroom for assembly. That's mostly because hubby is having rotator cuff surgery next week and he can only use one arm! That was our motivation to make this purchase as he teaches online courses and needs to sit in bed with a laptop table (also on order) and type or swipe while recuperating. Two XL Twin mattresses and two adjustable bed frames arrived in four boxes. Beware, the frames are heavy and boxes cumbersome to open. Everything was packaged securely with no missing parts. The assrmbly instructions are clear and easy to follow. I took it slowly to ensure I understood and the mechanisms worked properly. Our oversized cushy King mattress pad and sheets are working ok for now. Ideally XL Twin pads and fitted (bottom) sheets may be best. Also, we have a beautiful solid cherry King headboard, footboard with wood frame sides. These entire set sits comfortably inside all of that! I was terrified that I would not be happy but this turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made! Like many, I was worried that the mattress would be hot, but this was definitely not the case. The Ananda mattress is so cool that I was even able to use flannel sheets (a personal favorite through the winter) and still feel the coolness of the mattress. Compared to a standard mattress, this is the best sleep I’ve gotten in years! As a bonus, the adjustable bed frame has silenced my husband’s buzzsaw snoring. It’s a win/win. On a side note, I was also worried about finding split king sheets but my standard King fitted sheets from Target fit comfortably around the combined mattresses. Even if I’m reading with my head raised and my husband is sleeping, the sheets stay attached and don’t pull away. I will probably buy some split king sheets just to have but my standard sheets work well regardless. I highly recommend this bed and adjustable base. I included a photo just to show how nicely it fit into the bed frame I already owned. I am so glad I went with this purchase. It would be best if you have help with frame setup because it is bulky and a bit heavy. Mainly in the flipping right side up process. It comes in 4 big boxes that are heavy. If you have a 2 wheeler, that would make it much easier to move. It is only delivered to your door. The frame is sturdy. I have it on the highest leg adjustment. It is completely adjustable to almost any position. It has a zero gravity setting button preset. You can also put 2 of your own favorite presets. I guess I was a lucky one with the wifi connection. I was able to connect with some confusing instructions. Kinda got lucky figuring it out. My biggest issue is the mattress. It is what I would call very, very firm. No medium firm what so ever. I had to put our own mattress toppers under the mattress cover for some relief. Do not get this mattress if you don't want firm. Overall, I'm okay with the purchase. Nice frame...hard mattress. I can replace the mattress at a later date if it doesn't soften up, I guess. ... show more

This was a big decision for me when I purchased our first bed. When I ordered the 2nd one it was a no brainer. I have had 2 of these beds & 2 other brands. Yes, we loved the first one so much that we just do not want anything else. Several of our friends have purchased this bed after spending a weekend at our house & sleeping on it. Here are several commonly asked questions about our bed. #1 What kind if bed frame can you use? You can use a regular headboard-footboard combo by just removing the bed slats. It has adjustable height legs so you can have it the height that is right for you. #2 What kind of sheets can you use? You can use the special split King sheets, but we prefer to use regular King sheets. Unless you have one person who sleeps flat & another who sits straight up there is no issue. The bed still adjusts properly for each side. We choose to put x-long mattress pads on our mattresses. I have “sheet belts” that keep the pads in place & do clip one sheet corner on the top of both sides to keep them in place better. (My husband is ill & spends a lot of time in bed, so it is helpful.) I like the ones that make an “X” under the mattress. #3 What about the crack? The split is not an issue if there are any "extra activities" in the bed. We have 3 yorkies & the dogs do not fall thru the cracks. Even if we use split sheets it is not an issue. #4 Is it hard to put sheets on? No harder than a regular bed. You can raise & lower the head & to make putting the split sheets on easier. The regular sheet is easier than a standard bed because of the ability to raise the mattress. #5 Does the bed come apart in the middle when you try to sleep? NO. it has an attachment to keep it together. #6 How does it look when made up? It looks like a regular bed unless it is raised. You just make it like any other bed. They also make a special bed ruffle that is box style that works. #7 Can you store stuff under it? Yes. You still have room for storage like a regular bed with a box spring has. I like having a head tilt option on ours, but it is not necessary, 2 of ours do not have it & I prefer having the option. Some have fancy lights under them, but I never have used them. The vibrators are okish but I seldom use them. The charging ports are nice to have but I never use them. They are not easily accessible due to our set up. Mine do not have enough power for larger devices. I would never want to go back to a regular bed. Yes, I am sitting up in my wonderful bed as I type this. My happy place!!! This has been money well spent & I have nothing bad to say about these beds. Go ahead & buy yours! ... show more
