Quest Pro has short battery life and there's already a battery on the back of the head strap, so strapping another one on would mess up the balance horribly. This helps keep the Pro running longer and adds no additional weight to your head, so less neck strain. I ordered a second one so that I can just swap them out when one gets low. My only really complaint is that I wish the cable they included was more flexible and maybe a half a foot or so longer, so there's enough slack to tie it down to the headstrap above my ears, to help keep it back out of the way from my vision and tracking cameras.     • Keeps my quest 3 charged!
This neck battery is comfortable to wear and keeps my quest 3 charged. I’ve been able to play for 3+ hours with no issues. The only time I noticed significant drainage is when I used the battery and headset with virtual desktop so I’ll need to do more battery testing with that but I’ve had no problems so far using it with native apps and games. It’ll keep my headset battery at the percentage it was when I plugged the battery pack in and have even noticed it charge the headset a bit after a while. I picked this up while I wait for boboVR to update their batteries for the quest 3 and I definitely recommend it! ... show more

Holds a good charge and other than it getting a little hot, it does what it says it does. Took off a start for the heating up thing. Mildly irritating. Wear a tick tshirt and you won't notice it

I was really impressed by this battery pack! I originally bought it to use when playing VR, but what I really like is its versatility. You can use it to charge just about anything! The neck support is easily bendable but stays firm when in position and even has a magnetic clip at the bottom to help keep it right where you want it. Its sleek, light and to top it off, its powerful. When using it with my Quest 2 (that thing can pull a lot of power, trust me lol) it provides at least 3 hours of extra playtime. But with anything else that isn't a mobile gaming device like the Quest 2, it can provide power for much longer. All around, a great buy.     • Great Design. Unfortunately It Doesn't Work!
Really love the design. Very comfortable to wear. Well balanced while exercising. Unfortunately, the battery life is minimal -- bearly 20-minutes! Which is a real bummer while gaming! Not worth the money! DO NOT BUY!!! I'm sending mine back!

It seems it takes longer to charge and only adds a little, about 40 minutes power to a Quest 3.. I had wished that the gooseneck that attaches the batteries would have had some padding on it, as well as the batteries.. But the weight of the batteries makes it hard to forget they are there, and the weak attachment using the magnets, means it doesn't hang on well, but its probably that way for safety reasons.. ... show more

    • Excellent and Conveniently Wearable Source of Power!
This enhances my PCVR wireless play sessions via my Quest Pro. I use Virtual Desktop to wirelessly connect to my PC to run SteamVR games and this battery pack is the perfect addition to my wireless kit. It sits very comfortably around my neck and because it is not a head-mounted external battery, there are no balancing or weight issues imposed on my head. This is by far the best implementation of an external battery. I played Half Life: Alyx for about 90 minutes and this battery still had more than half the battery capacity remaining - my Quest Pro headset never dropped below 90% because it was drawing power from this battery pack. I wouldn't mind purchasing a 2nd one so that I can always have extra power at the ready if I chose to play for an extended period of time. ... show more
