First impressions, 1.) Solid product but much lighter than you would imagine. 2.) Quality boxes that they were shipped in 3.) Customer support!!! and I can't express this enough Like most people I am using these batteries in a hybrid solar system for my home. After alot of back and forth and many excel sheets I settled on starting with a 24 VDC battery bank. I ordered 2x of their 300ah 12vdc batteries and planned on running them at 24vdc. So over the course of a few weeks everything started coming in and I got to work. Here are some things to look out for and why these batteries are my new go-to instead of AGM. Alot of people do not understand the chemistry involved in the PO4 batteries and steps that need to be followed for the battery to do what it does best and that's store lots of energy. 1.) These have to ship with a low charge and will need to be charged independently if setting up a large battery bank ( single battery system no need to worry) 2.) After each battery has been if fully charged you connect them in series and let them sit for roughly 24 hours. ( I left my mppt and shunt on so there was a light load during the balancing of the cells ) 3.) They cannot be charged when cold. These batteries have a BMS but it is a modified BMS so that you can discharge the batteries in the cold but for all that is good please make sure your charging system HAS a LOW temp cut off for charging. And or do what I do and have a sperate BMS for the battery bank and let the batteries manage them selfs with in the bank. So since I was not doing an off the shelf setup I had a lot of questions about voltage and charging characteristics of these batteries. There was not much online so I just decided to reach out to customer support and was put in contact with Panddy and it has been by far one of the most productive and useful chats with a customer support rep and it was on the First try. I didn't have to go through 3 or 4 associates before I got the answers I was looking for and they had me up I'm running within an hour. I will update with more information as I get to test these batteries but to break down the setup, Victron for inverter/charger and mppt/BMS, Ampere time for the batteries, and last Newpowa 9bb solar panels. ... show more

    • Easy to order, receive, lift, install and use. The best batteries I've ever had
These batteries are hands down the best I've ever purchased. I bought two of the 300ahr batteries for our sailboat. I'm all the way in Grenada, West Indies and used a shipping company. The batteries were delivered to Miami in 3 days. The shipping company did their thing and got them here on the promised time from them. The batteries arrived packaged wonderfully. Each was in its own heavy-duty cardboard box. Inside they were again packaged completely in protective Styrofoam packaging. I replaced two 8D AGMs that weigh 165 each with these that seem much lighter than the 65 to 70 pounds advertised. The fit was a perfect drop in replacement. No mess no fuss except the bolts provided for the connections were a little short for the two large lugs I connect on one post. No problem to drop in another bolt, but maybe provide the regular sized bolts and some 1/4" longer for a choice. As for usage, they have been fantastic over the last month. I've run them down to 52 percent usage and the voltage still remains at 13.2 volts. The AGMs were dead when we'd reach anything more than 40 percent of ahrs used. And, even when these are at 55 percent, they still run everything including the ancient microwave. The AGMs never were able to do that as we'd have to turn on the genset just to use the microwave for a couple of minutes. The best part is that I can be down 220 ahrs used and they charge up quickly. Took about two hours on the genset because of the efficiency of lithium batteries. They also do great with our solar array and wind generator. It's just been unusually cloudy to last couple weeks. But, we keep everything running and don't have to be concerned about battery levels like with the AGMs. In fact, I am running our DC watermaker right now (on the third hour) and it just keeps chugging away without having to run the generator, and the system is at 85 percent capacity with no problems. As for longevity, I can't say. As is usual from what I hear, the batteries are getting better in the first short time of using them. I expect they will continue to hold up and be the best system for our sailboat/home ... show more

I used this battery for my van to replace two 100ah AGMs that were never able to keep up with my refrigerator. I have a 400w solar panel and it's also got ac charging as well as 110v shore power. So far I'm very happy with the battery, it performs well and everything is great. 5/20/2022 update: I learned that this battery does not have a low temp cutoff as others have noted. But I managed to get thru the winter just fine and so far I'm still happy this this unit. I have a manual breaker on my charging sources so I can just turn them off when the temps go down. I don't usually leave my van unoccupied with the solar running for very long so it's no trouble to keep an eye on the temps. Also I have a nice diesel heater in my van so when it gets cold I just open the cabinet door where my battery sits. I'm kind of a wimp and keep the van pretty warm so the battery is never at risk of freezing while I'm there LoL. I have an Ali battery monitor that I use to monitor the charge state and a thermometer in my van as well. So I feel like the lack of a low temp cutoff is not a major issue b/c I'm always around to monitor. This battery performs extremely well and the capacity is as advertised. My favorite feature is getting 300ah in one box that fits perfectly into my cabinet. Plus the price was very reasonable. ... show more
