I'm a guy... I've got hair in places I'd rather not... back of my arms, neck, hands... I'm hoping this device will work to reduce the amount of time I have to spend manscaping. After 2 weeks of use, it does appear to be slowing down the regrowth. It will take a few months to know for sure whether I'm getting the expected value form this device, but initial signs are good. The device itself is easy to use, although the instructions could be better. I'll eventually try out auto mode, but so far have run manually on a mid-power setting. Very simple to zap, move and zap some more. A few negatives for me that are not a big deal, but, would make the product better in small ways... 1. I realize the product is geared more towards women, but, it would be great of they pick some neutral color rather than pink. My wife thinks it's hilarious, so, maybe there's a small upside to pink laser hair removal tools for me... I'm still a no on the color. Also, the instructions could be better, but the device is easy enough to figure out, other than what auto-mode actually does and what extra caution I should take using auto mode. Finally, while the device comes nicely packaged in a very secure box, it would be great if they included a small bag or pouch to keep things organized after you put the shipping box in the recycling bin. So far a solid 4 stars... if it proves itself over the next few months, I'll be sure to upgrade my review. ... show more

I've spent real money on professional laser hair removal in the past. This was worth taking a chance on for me. It will definitely be less expensive and more convenient if I can do touch-ups myself. The laser hair removal kit comes beautifully packaged -- nice enough for a gift. It comes with everything you will need, including a razor and protective sunglasses, the power cord and the unit itself. My only concern is about the sunglasses -- they seem like cheap drugstore sunglasses, unlike the black-out goggles my spa provides when doing this service. The unit comes with excellent instructions and the unit is simple to operate. My only concern or question about the instructions is "auto mode." I was a little afraid to try it out and nowhere (that I can find) in the instruction manual is this mode explained. The unit has 9 levels of power. I started on 1 and quickly moved up to 9. I still couldn't even feel it at 9. Does that it mean it's not really working? At the spa, the IPL can be uncomfortable. It remains to be seen whether it really works or not, and I will update this review in the future, when I've completed the 8-week cycle suggested in the manual. I am doing only one lower leg, where I've had zero laser treatments in the past. If, at the end of the 8 weeks, there is less hair on the treated leg than the untreated leg, I will be completely satisfied, even if it's not perfect. ... show more

This is way better than having to make an appointment and go wait there for 30 minutes for them to do a treatment! I did my legs, and my armpits and It took about half that time! I love the cool ice feeling with this too. You can still feel the heat somewhat, but it's barely noticeable. This came with sunglasses, a razor, plug, and a user manual. I wasn't sure what level to put this at, so I just went about halfway and did it at 5. I have sensitive skin and I didn't have any bad reaction to this, so that's a plus!! I was a bit worried when it said you could get some redness or burning sensations so I made sure to put aloe vera on afterwards too. I have never had a problem using laser hair removal devices before though, but I just wanted to make sure! Overall this is a great working device though, and I have been impressed with it! ... show more

So this is my first time using and at home laser, hair removal Device. It is ready to use right out of the box and the directions could not be any better. Very simple to use has a great cooling effect and does not hurt at all. I was blown away by how user-friendly and easy the whole process was. The price of this is average for a laser hair removal device, but it saves 1000s of dollars from going to have it professionally done. I would definitely recommend this product without a doubt simply because it does what it claims to do. It’s made very well with beautiful packaging and Priced accordingly. This laser is painless on the lower settings. It does state that it doesn't work on blonde or red hairs -- I have a mix of hair colors. I figure even if it eliminates half of the hair, I'll be happy. It is easy to use but this definitely is a time commitment. It takes quite awhile to do one section. You are supposed to do treatments on a schedule (more to start, tapering off). I'm not sure I have the time to dedicate to this, but I'm gonna try! ... show more
