Great product easy to use instructions are well put together, is perfect for open areas since is a big tool, if you need to get into tight spaces i recommend the other type of rivet nut tool the one that you squeeze.

Good overall value and ease of use--could have better instructions

This kit was exactly what I needed. I use rivet nuts, or nutserts, on a few projects, but not often enough to get a more serious tool for the purpose. This set has a good variety of tips and works well. I have now used it on a wide variety of projects and it certainly gets the job done. I also apprec
iated the small variety of rivet nuts that came with it to start out. Overall it is easy to use and seems very sturdy. Only two things are concerning for me. 1. The tips seem sturdy, but I have a feeling they are not the best metal and I feel like they may not last. They have lasted for light use, but I wouldn't trust them for frequent heavy use. 2. This kit was very light on instructions. For changing the tips, but also just general use. I had used a similar set up, so it wasn't an issue for me, but if you are new to this it will be a problem. I really feel like the instructions could still be short, but much more clear and detailed.

A great tool for the DIYer

This is sound nutsert tool with all of the heads and nutserts to get you started. My only issue with it is the lack of a storage case. For some reason I assumed it would have a case but it did not... That would make this tool shine above the rest. Very handy and does exactly what I wanted.

This tool makes installing nutserts (Riv Nuts) much easier and less prone to error than simply using the "tool enclosed to install nutserts", found in many items which require the little devils. I was installing a $500 tailgate table onto a $61K vehicle and did not want to go through the usual hassle
s of installing the nutserts incorrectly. Previously on other projects I'd not gotten the nutsert expanded when tight against the mounting surface so I bought this tool. I also purchased a 22 gauge piece of steel from a local HW store. Several holes were drilled and a number of nutserts inserted all with success, and so it went when installed on the tailgate. Solid tool and practicing first allowed me to gauge how much pressure was enough pressure. Srongly recommended for quality and versatility as it comes with a number of dies for various size nutserts all at an affordable price.

All parts came in individual bags labeled with size. Very helpful. Tool itself was very easy to use and worked well. They may want to include appropriately sized hole for various sizes of inserts.

Does not fit older Red Astro 1442
Size: SAE-1/2-13
If you have an older version on the Astro 1442 that is red these do not fit. I should have checked the style of mandrel before order so that's my fault. It's seems to be well made and it is good quality just doesn't work with my Astro 1442 (red)
